Tulsa is 10-10 Its strength of Schedule is 60- so so. It did beat UAB pretty nicely and Stanford but its not in the top 100 teams in the country simply because it has 10 losses. None of them are to Top 25 teams although UNLV is pretty close to getting a decent ranking.

They can be tough at home like many teams but UTEP still should be them.

Crawl back into your hole. Stats don't mean anything and we sure don't need you time and time again posting all that garbage. You act as if you know something but actually you know very little.

Bless you Steve-O for all the stupid information. Did you know that Houston Baptist has an RPI of 346 - lost to SD last and plays ND today.

Go Miners!!

Also Steve-O: BYU has an RPI of #1 and is ranked 9th or 10th - below #4 ranked San Diego St. who lost to BYU the other night. Those ranking really win games (haha). But thanks for the poo-poo Steve-O

With all that data, I'm sure UTEP and Tulsa will play each other tonight.

Go Miners!!

This is a great opportunity for the Miners to gain a game on Memphis (who will hopefully have a tough time on the road at Marshall).

Who the hell do you think you're 'educating' with all your stats talk? Haven't you learned yet that a game still has to be played and that all statistical analysis and ranking systems fly out the window, especially in this wacky conference? Please...you're just regurgitating a bunch of numbers that people ARE already aware of. Perhaps the original article by Knight should reflect some of the info you give on an almost daily basis, but why don't you ever come with something original and subjective? Personally, I wouldn't give you such a hard time if you brought something that had some thought in it instead of this robotic mesmerization with numbers (stats, records, rankings). I actually felt a little bad for you when everyone about jumped your a$$ last week, but then I read yor post today and its the same old sh!t. And as far as giving your actual name and calling people out for not doing the same doesn't make you heroic, it makes you idiotic!

After Tulsa lost Wednesday night, and the game being in Tulsa - I think it will be single digits, if UTEP can win, and hopefully they do. Either way, I see a very close game tonight.

The Miners only beat Tulsa by 10 here at home.

hey everyone, what do you all think is one of the keys to the game. hopefully, the guys respect tulsa three point shooters, but not overplay guys to the point where tulsa gets some opportunities near the basket. this should be a concern, since they will not want to repeat giving up open threes like in the first half on wednesday

Very tough game! But the kind of games the guy's need to get used to winning. I hope they come out with defensive intensity and not let this one get away from them early. If they are around at the end, they could steal this one! Defense! Baby! Defense! Good luck guy's! GO ORANGE! GO MINERS! BEAT TULSA!

Score at least one more point than Tulsa. lol

Really though - great tight defense, rebounds, and the Miners must make what free throws they get. Remember - Tulsa at home and have the refs tonight.

This is America, let Steve talk about something he believes in. No need to get ugly among people who all are pro Miner.

Its America but people like Danny and others who don't have the courage to place their name behind their words are pretty sad.

Paco may be in America but the average illegal could write a better sentence.

I like to add information to a post-stats don't mean everything but they provide some background. Its fun doing the research for myself.

Anyone know what happened to UCF?- This was supposed to be their best year ever. they started off conference play picked by many to finish first and now with 5 losses they are on the bottom.

I thought this was supposed to be a tight game. Why does the Sheridan line in Vegas/USA Today have Tulsa as a 13 1/2 point favorite?

Talk about illiterate, maybe you should read your own posts. You have terrible grammar and can't spell. A has been sports writer, and from what I have read here, a lousy lawyer. Even chicken pluckers hold more respect than two-bit lawyers. It doesn't take research to win basketball games and RPI data means nothing in the final score.
