UM freshman QB hurts left arm as car flips

That's more important than checking out a fracture. He's feeling pretty good. He's a trooper. University of Miami freshman quarterback Robert Marve injured his left (nonthrowing) hand early Monday morning when a car driven by Hurricanes freshman receiver Jermaine McKenzie flipped over on Interstate 75 just north of Naples. McKenzie was not injured, according to his father, John, and was back in Miami on Monday afternoon. UM sophomore linebacker Colin McCarthy, who was the only other person in the vehicle, left the hospital in Naples on Monday and did not appear to be injured, according to Robert Weiner, who was Marve's head coach at Tampa Plant High. Robert Marve is the guy that I mentioned in several postings long ago.

Dawg Dave never has anything important to post anyway.

Marve is now Redshirting because of this accident. He could of been the leading contender for the starting job, already knowing the playbook from Spring time. Well, maybe this could be the blessing in disquise with an extra year, if he chooses.
Marve is the type of player that could EASILY get drafted early into the NFL. Really wanted to see him play this year. Heal up guy!
