Giving Miner fans grief aside, as long as the Miners don't have to play any kind of a CUSA tournament playin game, or play Memphis in the first game, losses now don't make any difference for CUSA or NCAA tourney. Even your shot at the NIT might be over now.

Maybe the best thing is to rest the Miner starters as much as possible for the grueling tourney weekend.

Okay, back to giving Miner fans a hard time...

That 7 footer, Cooper, saw the writing on the wall.... bailed out while the gittin' was good. Next loss? At St. Joseph's Catholic...

I just hope we will not pay money to get in some made up tournament again. If we don't make NIT we should end the season

This team should be playing in the NCAA tourney but seems like we are just happy to get a win any win now. I agree with Miner fan let's save money if we don't make the NIT.

Good thing barbee is such a good recruiter because he sucks as a head coach. At least he has something to fall back on. Coach Adams from the women's team does so much more with less talent. To think that the women's team is depleted due to injuries and playing with a much younger team than the men's team, and they accomplish so much more. Just saying.

Barbee is a good recruiter but for some reason his team is not playing well together. I agree he has some talent on his team and this team should be playing for much more....

almost came back. cant wait till were playing with juniors and seniors. the next two years should be amazing 24 wins or more with ncaa bids. that is of course if you guys dont run off barbee with your criticism. hes building this team the right way. the only reason gilispi and sadler had good teams was the junior transfers they brought in. yea we were good for a year and then what we had no foundation. i like this coach alot if were luck he stays we'd have one of the best mid major programs. but we need to average at least 10,000 a game. trust me this coach is a future hall of fame canidate.

UTEP really needs to mature and know when to take shots. Once this team gets going, they shoot themselves in the foot by getting impatient. Once they get confident, I think this team will be a force to be reckoned with. Go Miners!

Daily Horoscope for December 6

Virgo

Luckily, you're less susceptible to people leaning on you today, but there's still a chance that someone might try to take advantage of your good nature. It's so darn difficult to stand up to them, partly because you genuinely want to help if you can, and partly because you don't want to be seen in a bad light. But you don't want to be seen as a doormat either, do you?
