Hey numb nuts, read the post. Nothing was mentioned about going to a bowl, simply that a 6-6 record makes a team bowl eligible. By the way, some bowls have no choice but to take 6-6 teams. Utep might be inculded...who knows.

Do you even know how quickly this bowl has become one of the premier bowls in the nation. It's only been around for 16 years and it's had Ohio State, Texas, Michigan, Nebraska, Iowa, Penn State, Wisconsin, Michigan State, Texas Tech, Missouri, and Oklahoma State. The Alamo Bowl is on the short list to become a BCS Bowl. Sadly, the UTEP football team isn't good enough to be flushed down the Toilet Bowl.

The wekness starts at the top clear to see that coach Lewis brings the mental thoughness but doesn't get the backing from Coach Price.... It's well known that Price is players coach doesn't come down his players for making the same mistakes over and over again late in games they should win. Just recently after one their loses some players seen laughing rather than thinking about how correct their mistakes. Coach Price needs to take a long hard look at the way he manages his team!
