Jason Taylor on 'Tossing salad' and Elmo....

"But I don't care. Do you realize I just got to meet Elmo the other day? Seriously, I was asked to go on Sesame Street and give the "Celebrity Vocabulary Word Of The Day.'' The word was "toss,'' so I talked to the kids about tossing a football, a salad or horseshoes. Then I actually was supposed to "toss'' the muppet cow across the room. My kids loved it.

And, by the way, Elmo's cool. Great guy to work with. Elmo's got the world by a string, and yet he's not a prima donna at all. I mean, we're talking one of the most popular people on the planet. Very down to earth and cool.

I mean, I wouldn't want to dance against him. Who'd vote against Elmo?"

This interview needs some follow-up questions. One of the biggest ones I have is about our RBs. He's right in saying Barber runs over people...but it's been pretty well proven that a back who runs like that has about a 5 year career. One of my issues with Parcells is that he likes to get big guys on his team and he likes to punish them mercilessly until they don't work anymore physically and then he throws them away and gets another one. This works fine as long as you can consistently rotate good football players through the system...not so good when you can't.

I like this draft approach. Will be an interesting year seeing these guys develop, struggle or flop.

We are going to have absolutely no passing attack this year...I can't wait till next year when we can get some high 1st and 2nd round picks to get some skilled guys in here. Good luck to Ronnie and Ricky on making it through the season healthy! lol

I am a life long 'Fin fan but I hate the Parcells and his puppets. Anything they do will be viewed as successful b/c we were 1-15 last year. Parcells is a old bloated windbag. Ridiculous and you all are buying it hook line and sinker. I am still a 'fin not a parcells fan.

what dont you like about the way they are rebuilding? I was never a parcells fan but i do see the value in building from the D and O lines.

If your QB is on his a$$ it wouldnt matter who he is throwing to. Build the lines first, it will make an average QB better.

HOT DAMN, I like BP&CO. They're doing things right. It may not be this year that the Dolphins make the playoffs, but I'd bet the house that we will be there in 2009. GO DOLPHINS!!!!!

It could happen, we were close in so many games in the past two years. Just one more touchdown in each game and we would have 6 more games to go 7 and 9. So if our Defense improves and we get any better offencse. We could go .500 with little effort..800 makes the playoffs in the NFL.

After the last10 sad sack drafts,(with a few exceptions) you numb nuts have to bitch about major reconstruction on the o and D lines that wil definitely improve this down and out squad a day late and a dollar short but hell better late than never GO PHINS
