The record-setting temperatures in Texas this summer had to pale in comparison to the heat Mack Brown was feeling in Austin.

If the UCLA game would have been in Austin, Goodwin's hit would just have been a great football hit, which is what it was. The video clearly shows the hit at shoulder level. The hit Colt McCoy got from Alabama was more intentional, and it served its purpose. No one ever said anything about how terrible that was. It's football.

Dont get too excited yet Longhorns. The (B)ruins could barely beat the WAC cellar team San Jose State. You definitely dont want to use UCLA as a measuring stick to your season. UCLA is better suited as a poop stick when spreading manure across your lawn. LMAO

wow you're the most uninformed person that has ever posted something about football. You're still mad that we beat your team in the national championship and that they cant go to bowl games for a while.

Uninformed... How so? Yes I was upset Texas beat the Trojans for the NC but my point here is that the (B)ruins are so pathetic that Texas should not base this victory over them as any great accomplishment. I would say it would be similiar USC beating Minnesota in week one. UCLA and Minnesota are terrible. And presently, the only thing I hold against Texas is being too greedy with their Longhorn Network to not negotiate with the Pac12 to expand. Oklahoma was really counting on becoming part of the Pacific Conference and Texas stabbed them in the back with their money knife. Oh well, could have been one heck of a conference.
