The talent for a good team is there on the field, not just on X and O's paper. But the fact is, Texas AD Dodds can't see past his nose. Texas will never have a chance at being a National Championship contender until Mack is sacked.

Texas does not have a running game to put out on the field offensively. The offensive line cannot protect Ash against a decent defense. The defensive secondary is invisible against the running and passing game of a capable opponent.

This is not a 'player' issue. It's a coaching/leadership issue. Mack needs to take over the ship, or retire and let a new captain take command. And speaking of command-these new offensive and defensive coordinators at Texas are too young and too inexperienced to hold their current jobs at UT.

I am watching the UT-OU game right now. TUPU 2, OU 29. Point made.
