I really enjoyed watching Coach Knight on Leno last night!

He's actually very funny and not at all like the media all too often tries to portray him to be.

I wish him the best of luck in his retirement!

Memo to the Indianapolis Star Editors:

Bobby is NOT news. Bobby left Indiana a better place by leaving it years ago and will not be coming back.

Try dispatching some of your ace reporters to investigate the ISTEP scam or how Mitch Daniels/Roob's give away of the FSSA to ACS/IBM has victimized not only the people who depend on the agency but also the people who work there?

If you think you can do "better" put your money where your mouth is ... will Coach Knight ever do that (become a ref)? Maybe it really isn't as easy as it looks??

Like him or not, you have to admit he's always colorful with his rhetoric.
I'll always be looking to see what he's up to in the future.
I wish I had known he was going to be on the show.

If you don't like Knight, don't read the story. STOP trying to rule the world. I hate people that tell other people how to live their life.

I am not, nor have I ever been a fan of Bobby Knight. Having said that I must agree 100% with his last statement in this article,. I think the major responsibility that any college coach has who recruits kids is to see that those kids graduate. I mean, why else are they there? Too many kids think they go to college to play ball, whether it be Basketball, Football or any sport in which scholarships are awarded. The main reason they should be there is to get an education. Too many coaches use the kids for one purpose only, to win ball games and don't really care if they graduate or not. As soon as the kids' eligibility is used up, according to some coaches, so are the kids.

Bobby Knight believed in coaching discipline, earning everything you get, and never giving up. Too bad he did not apply the same to his own life. Too bad his son Pat could not earn a coaching job based on his own merit but instead on the accomplishments of his father. Knight quiting in the middle of the season is a total slap to the face to the Texas Tech seniors who committed to that school to play for Bobby Knight. Those kids did not commit to playing to THAT school to play for Pat Knight.
