Good stuff CPEM. Without looking at the article, is there anything "current" that you would say either school has a pretty edge over the other, say the last 5 years? I know overall you can find strengths from both sides...

As much Ias I am still relishing in the Huskie win, what happened to Cal this past weekend? Then Washington loses to Stanford? Who else (besides our Bruins) are going to knock off the Trojans too?

And if you throw in the way the Dodgers and Angels have been playing lately, the Bruins look like the cream of the crop in our city... for the moment anyway!

I think the "current" indicator is the "Gauntlet" that's been around since 2001. It's pretty evenly divided right now, 5-3 in favor of USC, with both schools alternating winning it each year except for the last two years that USC won it.

man he gave an aspiring acceptance speech and spoke of his glory days at SC..received a standing applause.

Atleast neither of us (USC/UCLA) has lost to anyone who didn't win a game last year...So we're doing pretty good in that respect!......Oh, sorry I forgot about your game at Washington...Must suck to be you..lose on!
