They did the right thing, I'm a white 40 year old male from Tennessee and when I heard his comments my jaw dropped to the floor, people need to realize in todays world you have to watch what you say and my god if your in the entertainment field you really have to mind your p & q's. Stuff like this just sets race relations back and theres no place for it!!!!! Congrats to msnbc and I hope cbs radio does the same!!! Remember Jimmy the greek?????

When MSNBC see's how much of a market share they really lose, they will be praying for an all out war with the middle east or north korea. They will need something significant to report to bring their ratings up.

What is going on with this politically correct mindset that pervades our society today? Freedom of speech made this country what it is today. Now we have to worry about every single word that we say whether it be in the office, on the playground or in the military. I think we all need to lookback in retrospect to our days on the playground at school when we were chanting "Sticks and stones can break my bones but names can never hurt me." Call me anything you want, make fun of me all day long, it doesn't matter. All those nappy headed hoes along with the Al Sharpton's of the world need to get a life and stop dwelling on the little things in life that are seemingly preventing them from being successfull in life (yeah, here we go again, the white man is holding them back). Don Imus is a true American that cares about this country and the types of people that call it their home. For all of you that don't want freedom of speech along with the many freedoms that America provides us, feel free to GET THE HELL OUT OF OUR COUNTRY!

It is good to see that someone in Corporae America considers VALUES more important than DOLLARS.
MSNBC is to be congratulated for taking this very apppropriate action in support of the Rutgers Women's Basketball team.

I really don’t like Imus. He is rude and acts like a cretin. I don’t care if he goes away. There are many others on radio and TV that I would like to see go away as well for the same reason.

I am confused about this whole flap. How is “nappy headed hos” a racial statement?

Is this because most of the players on the team were Negros that makes a rude statement a racial statement?

The whole ordeal being made in the press about this incident is silly.

How lame, Jackson gets a pass and Imus (I'm no fan) gets this BS.
The day Blacks take responsibility for their culture and admit THEY are the instigators of degrading women and THUG LIFE values. That is the day they will have a right to protest whites mimicking rap lyrics and making jokes in poor taste.
