Congrats to Evan! Who won it the years JJ was playing? Hard to believe he wasn't the best at the time.

I agree with the others. Whatever he does is good with me.

He's done a lot for recruiting for our university and will continue to do so in the NBA.

Congrats Evan...now just think if you pair your Naismith award with the High School Naismith award winner next year. No matter what you do, it was a great ride seeing you play at OSU, but it would be simply amazing if one more year was in your future!

It's neat he's even considering coming back. It would be a true one of a kind if he returned. All the best in the NBA next year! Go Bucks and thanks for your efforts, Evan.

Congrats Evan! I'm glad the media bias towards Kentucky didn't give Walls the award, since you were clearly the better player. Good luck in the NBA!

Congratulations Eavn. Buckeye fans everywhere appreciate what you have done for the team and the university. Although my selfish pride for the Buckeye Nation would love to see you come back next year to lead our Team to a National Title, I could not live with the pain if some freak accident like what happened to West Virginia's outstanding senior happened to you. Please take care of you and your family and go pro. You deserve to reap the fruits of your labor. Basketball is a short career and you need to get it done while you can. We have trully enjoyed the ride. Go Bucks!!!

With this award, I think number 21 will be retired in the near future.

What a great young man. He has more character than most of the others that were up for all these awards, not to mention he's the best player. May God bless you in whatever you decide. All Buckeye fans are very proud of your efforts. I agree number 21 should be retired, but let's wait until Evan's finished with it. GO BUCKS!

I don't think I'm being selfish for wanting him to stay. I can't help feeling a little betrayed when a player in football or basketball leaves early. I live and breath Buckeye sports. I naively hope that the players reciprocate this loyalty.

I love my university, love my players, and love the tradition. When a player leaves early, it always feels like they're saying "Thanks - I've gotten what I wanted. See you later" (yeah, I'm talking to you, Koufas and Mullens).

Evan has been a great representative for Ohio State. He's a very unique kid with an unbelievable skill set.

One simple word, Evan: Loyalty - if for no other reason.

BTW, does anyone know anything pursuant to an insurance policy in case Mr. Turner decides to return? How does it work? How much is one worth?
