Full story: Chicago Tribune

Flynn says Bulls want to move Rose off ball at times Teaming with Rose sounds pretty nice to Syracuse star May 29, 2009 Jonny Flynn and his agent, Leon Rose , mapped out a predraft workout schedule for the potential lottery pick based on teams that need a point guard.

Just the fact that the Bulls are interested in Flynn suggests that Kirk Hinrich has likely played his last game as a Bull. Perhaps the Bulls will try to shed his salary, and then resign Ben Gordon. Not sure if that's the way to go. But who knows?

If they are not going to take a low post scorer in this draft they need to trade the picks and get one that way. Haven't we learned how difficult it is to guard a 6'7"+ guy with a 6'0" guard??? Defense wins championships. I'll take Hinrich's defense over Gordon's offense any day.

Forget about drafting BJ Mullens. Brad Miller will play out his last year here and Omer Asik is the Bulls next center with Noah moving to forward in 2010/11 unless Tyrus drastically improves at power forward. If the Bulls really have an interest in Johnny Flynn is Kirk Hinrich moved along with the Bulls'
#16 or #26 pick for someplace in the lower lottery? In that case, welcome back BG. That's great but please the Bulls still need a front line scorer and banger: James Johnson (does everything), Dejuan Blair (mostly banger), Austin Daye (mostly scorer).

Great...Jonny Flynn is a small PG who's shot makes D-Rose's look like Larry Bird's. He would be a huge downgrade from Kirk because he can't guard 2s or hit 3s.

The Celtics series showed that they need a post scorer and a 2/3 combo guy...I would like to see BG back if they take a 2/3 combo, because asking Kirk to guard 3s isn't going to win any playoff series.

Maybe I am sleeping in on the days they report otherwise but so far I have a only seen a few articles on who the Bulls are working out and have an interest in and they are all guards.

Are they going for a five-guard lineup?

This team needs size and DEFENSE. Look at Orlando, they are winning with great team defense and look to likely defeat The Lebrons, although given last night's game, the refs are going to keep it interesting.

Use one pick to trade down for next year - get another first rounder - and use the other for some established size - there is no one where the Bulls are gonna pick who is worth 1st round money.

We have a good guard rotation already now that Salmons is here, even without BG... Hinrich is a great fit for defense, taking pressure of Rose handling the ball, and if the Bulls tell him he needs to be the 6th man I think he can focus on his scoring and shooting (especially from 3). Hinrich will never be the scorer BG is, but BG will never be the defender or ball handler that Hinrich is.

Can we send Deng, Tyrus, and some picks to Toronto for Bosh?

As a guy who grew up in Upstate NY and now living in Chicago, I am a HUGE Syracuse fan and was very disappointed to see Flynn declare for the draft after his sophomore season...but the thought of him coming to the Bulls excites me. Does it make sense? Probably not...this team NEEDS a low post scorer but the thought of Flynn playing with Derrick Rose does sound very intriguing.

Flynn is tough as nails, an underrated defender and can shred any defense with his ability to penetrate and finish...but we need a big guy who can consistenly put up 18-20 points a game. Get a big forward with pick 16 then hope Flynn is available at pick 26.

To "compliment" him? So you need a couple of guys to stand around and go "Nice pass D," "Great shot" and "Wow you sure can jump"?

Or would it be better to have someone to "complement" him and to be strong players along side him? Compliment or complement ... who cares, it's only language, and when you misspell words, even by a single letter, it can have a huge impact on the meaning. Keep that in mind kids!

Mike u are hereby banned!!!! Huge mistake to trade Hinrich's versatility for rook and BG's limitations. The Bulls lack vision and should focus on the frontline. Boozer and Bosh would swing the balance of power in the East towards Chicago.

Now count how many stupid shots the two of them took that took their teammates out of the games and gave the opposition the ball quite easily.
Thanks Nada
