"You won't find Eastern York on any of those rankings, even though the Golden Knights (31-0) haven't lost and -- in case you haven't heard -- have their own pair of Division I talents in Andrew Nicholas and Austin Tillotson."

I have to say, being nationally ranked is pretty amazing. This game tonight comes as a huge opportunity. To play a nationally ranked top 10 team in a playoff game. By far biggest game in school history even if it's not quite the state championship.

This game could also be a springboard for players like Austin Tillotson and Nate Bollinger. A lot of scouts and recruiters will be at this game to see how they do against the division 1 college basketball talent from Goretti.

No pressure :-) just play and have fun and prove that you belong out there with the best.

If Austin and Red are Division 1 talent we will find out tonight. For those of you that think Eastern does not stand a chance this game is erriely familiar to the Miracle on Ice where the U.S. beast Russia to get to the championship game. The Knights will not lay down I promise you that. Good lunk Knights!

Basically, the only chance Eastern has if they slow the ball down and work the ball on offense. Remember that they have not done this all year. They have played an out of control run and gun offense with zero discipline. Chuck the 3 and hope. Unfortunately, I have never seen a team after 31 games completely switch the way it plays. All season this team has not run any type of offenses. I wonder how that will work out tonight. I do believe Tilitsin, Nickolas, and Bollinger can hang but after the three of them it is a major drop off. Average players being carried by three other guys. We will see tonight. If Red, Austin, and Nate handle the ball and shoot the ball every time they may have a chance to win. Defensively, a packed in zone and they must get every rebound the first time. No second or third shots for NG. I would also try and get NG in foul trouble. To the previous posters, miracle upsets can happen but at the high school level you are dealing with a different situation than in college or at the professional level. Remember that college athletes at the Div. 1 level are tremendous high school athletes not role players. Also, college and professional coaching is much better than most high school coaches. Just my opinions-NG 70, EY 55.

You don't have a complete team. Red will shoot the ball every time he touches it and as stated earlier run & gun is not the answer.

Who gives a F __ K how YOU see it? How many OTHER teams in York County are presently at 31-0? That in itself is an honor. Good luck Eastern!

If you recruit, is it really fair that you play against all these schools that don't ?

Any coach knows you save all of your timeouts for the end of the game. Eastern was without enough timeouts to change the end of the game outcome.
EY needs to play Philadelphia city teams next year if Tillotson and Nicholas want to win a state title.
