Who cares. Mchale had a star player for like 13 years and managed to mess it up. Why would it be any different now? I can't believe the guy is still employed. If I performed that way at my 70,000 dollar a year job I would be toast. He must have some photos or something. He should actually be employed by Boston since he put the team together. How can he still be here? FIRE HIM FIRE HIM FIRE HIM.

Mr. Taylor, if you got in your private jet and the pilots took you to a different location than you wanted - what would you do? Now suppose this happend again and again and again - year after year - the pilots never took you where you wanted them to go. Would you just blow it off or - would you give them their walking papers? McHale has had 14 years to take you to the Championship and - guess what - he doesn't have a clue how to get you there! What is the deal with you? I know you are an intelligent man - but as far as having common sense - no way!! Basketball is a sport - yes - but it is a business as well - you need an upgrade on your navigation system!

Please Kevin, just go ahead today and trade all three of your picks and Al Jefferson for Boston's last four players and their draft pick which you can give to the Clippers along with Walker nad all three of next year's draft picks for Absolution of the Jaric trade.

That way you can finish off all the worst trade business, wind up with no picks or talent this year or next, and cement your reputation as the league's laughing stock. Which you are pretty much as it is.

Added bonus: no angst for the Wolves fans. Just kill all their hope now.

Why take OJ Mayo?
Just kill this thing now.

To all you Timberwolves fans. Why blame KM for everything that happened while KG was here,of course he was to blame for the majority but was he the reason they could not beat the Lakers in the finals?KG is equally to blame for a lot of things that went on on this team.Hey i would be the first to say fire KM but this draft is kinda like what do you do?OK everyone wants him to pick OJM but then i see a lot of post that want him to pick Bl or KL,what do you do?Then even some more post that say trade the pick......oh but only if you get somthing back that knocks your socks off.Whos to say what that is?Anyway i would love if he picks OJM because he could end up being the next Kobe but on the other hand i know we need a center,BL or Possibly KL.Trouble with that is they could end up being Rasho or another Craig smith witch is really not that bad,but anyway you get my drift. So don't blame KM for everything.........yet.

The T-wolves have so little true talent that it is scary. It is my opinion that a team needs a few stars, as I think star players determine the outcome of most NBA games. Role players, and depth, are nice, and you need some of each, but stars are where it is at.

Right now the wolves have one star, Big Al. I think the wolves should make Big Al off limits in any trade discussions.

The wolves have Foye and McCants who could be stars IF they develop, and I capitalized IF on purpose. Foye needs to work on his passing and has to push the ball more, which does not appear to be his inclination. McCants has to start to care about more than just his points. He needs to take as much pride in defense as he does on shooting the three. The wolves should resist trading either of these two, but be willing to include either if the deal is right.

Then there are a few players that have some redeeming quality, but will probably never be anything other than fringe performers. Here I include Telfair (can't shoot), Gomes (no quickness), Snyder (shooting), Craig Smith (vertically challenged and with no shooting range), Richard (shooting), and Brewer (shooting). These guys (and not all are currently under contract) could be kept or they could be included in any trade.

The rest is garbage, in a basketball skill sense. Walker has no interest in anything but jacking up that flat three. Madsen has zero skills. Buckner is a "never was" who is now an old "never was". Ditto for Doleac. Jaric was a huge mistake, worsened by the fact that we threw in a number one draft pick.

The Wolves need more top end talent. I don't care if it ends up being at a position that they already have a lot of (i.e. guard). Rose and Beasley probably go 1-2 in some order. If either falls to three, take him. If neither falls, take the third best player, Mayo. If for some idiotic reason we trade the third pick, take Love if we get the chance.

Try to package our second rounders with something, maybe Walkers contract (we might have to take back a worse one in exchange) and get up into the late lottery and select Brandon Rush.

Having said all this, McHale sees things differently. He will probably either trade the pick and take a guy like Lopez furthur down, or trade the pick and take a lower pick and a player with Jaric-like skills.

Go for the star....TAKE MAYO, and then keep him.

jefferson can play great ofense when he wants, but until he can do the same on defense, Iwouldn't quite call him a star. he is the best player on a bad team. if team could get kaman (see above) would have a center who is good and getting better. there would be no need to look for (center) maybes in the draft. have a so so but improving season, high pick next year and add a quality veteran and in two seasons they are in contention. if the veteran brought in is a star, all the better.( c3p OH, deron williams, maybe even labron ?) could get a high dollar guy if they can lose jarics contract. howards contract is off the books after next season and hudsons ater the following one, but jaric is three painful seasons longer.

my machine forgets to add all the letters all the time. I should read, before I send. sorry.
Or
third to clippers for seventh and absolution of future first round debt.
seventh and jaric to kings for tweveth and artest.
could pick up texas a+m center @ 12.. could pick best pg available at seven, but would be better to lose jaric.

We can blame him, for the Ray Allen debacle. We can blame him for the Brandon Roy debacle.

Shall we go on?
