If Kent State beats Bowling Green, Buffalo and Miami...assuming they lose to Akron, your looking at 26-6. If they reach the MAC final and lose, 28-7 with a couple of nice wins over St. Mary, Illinois St. George Mason and Ohio U. If that can't get them into the NCAA tournament, the heck with the committee.

Yet another stupid punnish headline from the ABJ staff.

Give it a break already.... it's so... sophomoric.

If it were not catchy, Scooter, would you have read it? I thought that was the point of a headline...from what I remember of my 10th grade journalism elective...

I think it stinks that KSU has to wait a week to play again. All that momentum will be gone. Miami is right where it wants to be come tourney time, so this game will be huge for an at large bid.

Remember, Akron had a great record last year - and now own the record for best record not to make the tournament. And then didn't even get an invite to the NIT. Selection comittees have absolutely no respect for the MAC, despite repeated wins in the tournament by MAC schools. Kent should have a better shot after this win over St. Marys.
