this is a good win. almost blew it, again. but held on, shows some maturity and growth from the team on the court, which is a good sign. it would have been devastating, confidence wise, if they gave this one away just after that MSU game. good job

Just imagine if the our 4 freshmen were good enough that IU really wanted them. Then we'd really be on to something.

Just as I predicted the boilers were road kill in the Big Ten. The losing streak has begun. I guess will start to hear about moral victories from the boilermaker kool aid drinkers. A loss is a loss. Next loss is Ohio State.

This time next year, this is easily a top 20 team. If we could get everyone healthy, THIS year could be a heck of a lot of fun as well. If they keep 'D'ing it up on teams, their shooting touch should come around. After what happened to MSU at Iowa, I guess missed layups and jump shot woes aren't just a freshman thing.

Good win for Purdue. I am an IU guy, but I love seeing the Boilers do well (except of course when they play the Hoosiers). Also VERY nice to see Ohio State return to mediocracy. I would love to see Ohio State / Michigan / Penn State at the bottom of the league this year.

Good Hoosiers!

Heck yeah, big win for the boys yesterday! Dang, this team is so young and is playing very well against the big boys in the conference. You know none of these guys are going anywhere soon, unlike a certain Eric Gordon who will be gone after this year. I'm just salivating thinking about how good we will be next year and the year after! But first things first; let's make a run at the Big 10 this year and make the NCAA tourney!

I have to admit. I have been very foolish and would like to apologize for my past remarks. Even though I didn't finish grade school, I do recognize when I make a mistake.

Purdue has secretly always been my favorite team. Heck, all of my children go to Purdue (although I don't get to see them much because of the restraining orders).

I thought maybe the Boilers were too young to play with the big boys in the Big Ten, but they are showing that they belong. A close loss to MSU and, now, a win against OSU! Watch out for Painter's boys --- they are going to make some noise in the Big Ten.

This is a great time for basketball in Indiana, if only I could hear the debates everyday instead of the Tar Heel - Blue Devil debates I hear on a daily basis here in NC. I miss the colleges that can compete in two sports (basketball and football). Go Purdue and yes go IU (except against Purdue).

It was great to hear Purdue pull out a solid win. I am a hard core I.U. fan that wants Purdue to do well except playing I.U.
Hell a perfect dream would have I.U. vs. Purdue for the NCAA championship in march/april with Indiana kicking the crap out of Purdue(72-71 would be ok too) to win another banner. If I.U. can't make it there the I want Purdue or any other BigTen team go far or deep in the tourney.....yes there is a team I hate in Indiana and thats Notre Lame. This years was even better with I.U. winning and the Irish losing.
Go Hoosiers!!

A good home win for the young guns over the O$U $uckeyes, Alumni money won't win you games. Extra Triple-X pork chop for Green's big 22. Enjoy the home fries.

Naw....there's lots of us around. I've got lots of PU friends.

The young Boilers will be much improved next year provided they stay together. EG aside, things happen during the off season - transfers, drop outs, grades, girls, etc.

Saw the Old Roy post....don't believe that's him. He would not concede error in such a gentelmanly manner.

Go Hoosiers!!!

Ohio State 68
Purdue 75

You young Boilers are learning! Down 7 at half, back and forth in the second, but this time winning it in the final minute vs. losing as at #6 Michigan State.

And, ending Ohio State's BT winning streak at 19 games. Ya' gotta love it! GREAT game, boys! Just PLEASE...make your free throws at the end. You're giving us a heart attack! GREAT WIN!

Nice win for Purdue. A lot of shake up in the Big Ten yesterday. Even as an IU fan, I picked Purdue to finish 4th in the Big Ten, just ahead of OSU.(Would have been nice if they could have pulled off the W against MSU, but oh well!) I was surprised that on , Purdue wasn't even mentioned as a team capable of making the tourney. They only said OSU should be in and that Minnesota had work to do. The Boilers have plenty of potential for the future, but this year's team has enough to find a way in to the tourney.

Boiler fans...forget about the NFC game this afternoon, check out the Hoosiers on CBS after the Colts dismantle the Chargers.

if marcus green plays like that, purdue has a chance to beat anybody. this team is still going to have its ups and downs (because they're young) but they are going to be really tough to beat at mackey. im glad IU doesn't have to go there this year.
