Finally the county is starting to get a little fed up with Dimmick and the way he does business.
Dimmick would have been smart to of scaled back the event and made it more family friendly and less of an impact on the area.
Sad that there was the loss of a young woman last year.
Dimmck make the threat of moving the event out of the county fine pack your bags and give us back our river and peace that goes with it.
This might be the first year in a long time that Southern Humboldt can really be enjoyed the way nature intended.
Less traffic and less noise can be a good thing for our children to enjoy.
We have plenty of great events at Benbow which are well managed and safe to bring the whole family without a major negative imapct on the whole area.

Please let this happen. I have My money and time tied up in this. I have allready put in time off at work request. I have made plans for this event for a year now. My empoyer whom is COMCAST will fill my spot for that week and it would create a bad situation for me to be able to work after position is filled. due to this I would not only lose what I'v spent on this I would not be able to get that week of work back. Please consider all the people in my position. Hard working tax payers that have dedicated money and time into this.

Sad sad state of affairs. Reggae Rising the best in 15 years...HELLO TOM were you too drunk to realize that Reggae Rising is only 3 years old. Or too busy with all the barley 18 drunken girls on the site? Let us not forget Molly! You stole the dates of a more successful long running festival then attempted to profit. Shame on you. Reggae Rising is dead get over it Dimmick Ranch and Tom and figure some other way to support your expensive lifestyle.L et us not forget Dimmick Ranch is in foreclosure too so he may not have the site even with approval. Lets find another benefit for So Hum without blood on its hands!!!

Just find another festival or stay home love on the family and work on your yard. This festival is a waste of time and not good for anyone at this point. Draining energy of good like a black hole.

I hope Dimmick find a way to resolve this problem. I plan every year for this event. And for this not to happen because of the problem of not paying the people who help put this event together is some %#@!#. Shame on Dimmick. You guys need to make this happen by any legal means necessary.

People, people, people! I wish more people were thinking about how to help Reggae Rising rise again. I love the festival with all my heart. I am one of those who has not been paid. I am acquainted with Tom Dimmick. I understand the history, the problems that led up to this disaster. What I don't understand is how people that profess to live in love and harmony with the planet and each other can be so vitriolic!

Let's all try to rise to a higher plane, ask what can be done to improve the situation. In my experience Tom has put everything he owns on the line to try to bring this festival back from the financial crisis he inherited from previous management. He is human, not perfect, there needs to be MUCH better communication and community involvement. But I honestly believe he is a good man, and he is attempting to save Reggae. If you love this festival, or if you ever loved this festival, get past the negativity and let's rebuild! Come on, people!
