Back in the late 1980s when the concept of midweek college football games first started to pop up, it was thought of as nothing more than an experiment or a gimmick play.

Playing non Saturday games may be great for getting the chance to play on TV, but it limits the ability to host high school prospects. Not all alumni and boosters from outside the area can make it to the game either.

Agree with the above comment. And a game for UCF on ESPN looses its value if we don't win. Let's go Knight and pound the snot out of Southern Miss!

Go Knights!
I like Non-Saturday games

I like anything where UCF is on TV, but I understand how it might hurt official visits and fan attendance (1st bc it is on a school night and 2nd bc people will watch TV at home vs attending) That said I am all for Non-Saturday games it helps give me my FB so I donít kill myself trying to watch it all day Saturday.

I have always liked the Thursday night games. I usually did not schedule classes on Friday, if I did, it was a late afternoon class, so I could watch or attend games (especially UCF). Now we have Sunday games, at night, oh boy, that's tough, not only on students, but alumn also. If this was a home game, it would be a lot easier on my own schedule. I am attending the game in Hattiesburg, but will have to fly back early Monday morning to at least get some work in. In the future, do not see myself attending any other UCF road games on Sundays (if so scheduled), just too hard for a working stiff like me.
GO KNIGHTS, run it down their throats.

I love college football so I love the games during the week, including all different conferences. UCF is clearly improved over last year and will get more televised games again next year.

I have no problems with the Thursday night fact they've almost have taken a stage in college football similar to MNF in the NFL on those nights. My beef is the Friday night games. Being a son of an HS football coach and understanding HS's tough to get people in the stands...if UCF is at home on a Friday limits not only recruits...but families with kids to be able to come watch UCF. The USF/WVU came to was their biggest home stage ever...and a huge recruiting opportunity...but if USF is playing on Friday night...aren't the HS players/recruits also playing? The Tuesday/Wednesday games are garbage, though...KILLS attendance and nobody is really watching outside of the fans of those schools. It's definitely a lower level feel when being pushed to a Tues. game...unless it's a weather make-up or something.

This year has been great with having all home games on a's definitely helped attendance. I hope for more next year...and hope we actually play Southern Miss on a Saturday for once!!

It's funny how many people can't spell "lose," should be a good game Sunday. I'm just glad it's televised, I don't really care what day it is!

And USF fans are terrorists, rapists, and their coach is an alcoholic....nice

Last I looked, just about every College Football Teams fan base is drunk on Saturdays.
