Woohoo, Tiller supporter here (for the most part). How about that rousing 51-48 thriller in the MCB over CENTRAL MICHIGAN. Woooooo!! I'm sure that'll quiet the discontent fanbase.

As a current Purdue student I can honestly say that my generation is not pleased with our football program. In my three years at Purdue we've only beaten a couple of teams with winning records. And we havent beaten a bcs team with a winning record in that span either (correct me if I'm wrong) How is that acceptable?
As an IU fan that has tried to convert to a Purdue fan I can honestly say that there is nothing appealing about football gamedays at Purdue. Play calling and execution are so bad at times that the crowd is completely taken out of the game. Seeing as I was in diapers back when Purdue was a three-win-a-season team, I will continue to voice my disappointment with Tiller and the current state of the program.
As far as a coaching change is concerned, look at what coach Painter has done with the basketball program. Why cant that be replicated with our football team?
Your perception of history is pretty short. As a 50 year old Boiler fan, I can tell you that Tiller has been the best thing that has ever happened to Purdue.

What people don't understand is that unless Purdue upgrades it's facilities, they won't be able to attract the top players...the kids come in and see an old outdated facility...then go to other B10 schools and see something entirely different. The school won't spend the money, so they won't be able to compete for those top level kids.

No intent to dis Painter but if Purdue could get someone like Ben Rosbgr, ol Joe would look real smart.

So apprently they are making Joe go. Very non-class act Morgn Burke. It sounds like you are hiring a replacement without his consent. Kevin Sumlin was the guy and they missed that train.

They wound up with a mediocre coach for a mediocre program - a pretty fair match for one another.

Upon further review, I love the hire Morgan. Sorry for rushing to judgement.
