This should be a great game. This is a great chance for Utep to widen the conference lead. Memphis and Uab play wednesday as well so a win for Utep will be huge. This will be a very difficult game though for Utep. I caught much of the memphis-southern miss game saturday and southern miss is very athletic and were up 14 with their best player flowers in foul trouble the whole game. Utep will have to play solid defense and crash the boards the entire game to win this game.

Keep the defensive pressure for the entire game and the game will be won.

This will be a great game - I'm surprised it won't be televised in Texas outside of the El Paso Area

Here we go Miners!
Tough it out and take control. Hit the boards and shoot from the paint.
You can do it!

Lets go Miners! Almost there! If we win these 2 games this week we should creep up in the polls and might just maybe crack the top 25 if others dont win this week...

Seems to me that CUSA has 4 very good teams: UTEP, UAB, Memphis and S. Miss. The east coast bias is criminal, the NCAA should step in regulate the NCAA bids to insure all deserving teams are included in the big dance.

Watchout for the time keeper, the score keeper, the lopsided officiating that C-USA is famouse for.
And keep fingers crossed that the Miners play good defense get in peoples faces dont stand around and watch them opponents shoot three pointers like is was some sort of marathon or duck shoot, and most importanly, Dont Panick at the free throw line, seems they always choke on the freebee's.
Good Luck Miners!!!

Hopefully Eustachy and the rest of the team were out partying at a frat house all night.

Going to be a tough game. Hopefully we are not plagued with the horrible officiating that we saw in the Tulsa and UAB games. I think that with two coaches who are great friends, you are going to see a close game that comes down to the wire. These guys both know how each other coaches.

We need to get a breakout game from someone like Jeremy Williams or Claude Britten. Also, it would be a great time for Randy to step-up on the offensive end and hit his shots. I don't have to say anything about Julyan, because we all know he will have a great game. Gabe McCulley also needs to come out and play defense like he has been recently.

The Miners have the best all-around team in CUSA. It will be a tough game, but certainly winnable for UTEP.

UTEP really needs to play smart, tough. Be agressive under the boards. They need to stop shooting from 15-20 feet. They need to grind inside and get Flowers in fould trouble early.
UTEP needs to play with urgency tonight, to make matters worse Southern Miss. is also favored by 4 points in today's USATODAY.

Great opportunity to add some distance to this close C-USA race as two of the top four teams will be adding to their "L" column tonight. If we play clamp down "D" and Culpepper slips out of his scoring slump, UTEP should be alright. Nothing is taken for granted though. C'mon MINERS!!!

I hate Time Warner Cable! Are you serious?! How hard is it to get a clear picture and sound? We get better feeds off internet productions. Whoever is responsible for this broadcast should be completely ashamed and apologetic. Pathetic.
