are you serious. jason taylor has been in miami for the last 11 years and bill parcells has been there maybe 3 months and he is already trying to tell him what to do and control him. im pretty sure taylor has done a lot more for the dolphins than parcells has and he goes in there acting like hes a god. i believe what he did in dallas with T.O. was right. i have always liked parcells but i dont agree with what he is doing here.

Why aren't we hearing anything from Srarano? He's the coach. Bill is a hell of a coach, but the front office is different than anything he's done before. Even in Dallas he had a lot of power, but was a coach first.
This is a bad mix, having a head coach looking over the shoulder of a head coach, but in any event JT should put that situation behind him and move on.

i have always liked bill parcels but i think that he is completely wrong about this whole situation. i dont see why you think that taylor is the one to blame here because him doing the whole dancing with the stars thing was already planned before parcels even came into the organization. parcels has always been an old school coach but he is not acting like it right now. he should go to jason taylor and talk to him face to face instead of ignoring him and talking about him through the media.

that's where you're confused...you're thinking of Parcells as a coach. In this case, Parcells is an executive a VP, not the GM or the Coach... Sparano and/or Ireland are the ones that need to talk to JT, and according to both, JT and Sparano, they have talked.

Where JT is in the wrong is in not being in camp...yes, he had the prior commitment, but he could have come in after. Now he's missing this weekend's mandatory mini-camp. I understand it's for a family issue, and I can accept that, but why couldn't he, at least in good faith, come to one of the OTA's to make up for it?

all the other veterans are busting their butts from the start!

I ain't hating on JT, I love the guy as a player, but he is partially in the wrong here.

That being said...the media has totally made this a bigger deal than it really is!
