Siena has every right to be proud of itself

DAYTON, Ohio Siena was supposed to be panic-stricken by Louisville's fearsome, unrelenting press, much as the Cardinals' Big East opponents were this season.

Saratoga is a super place to go in August. Louisville was running scared, and if Hasbrouck hits either of his two threes in the last minute or so, it would have tied the game, instead they made it into a 5 point difference. Moore HAS to be looked at as One of the BEST true point guards next year. He NEVER gets any recognition. Siena doesnt run without him. I have been to enough of their games in Albany. Franklin, Ubiles, Jackson, Rossiter ALL looked great against them. They have almost the whole team coming back next year.

[Reality check]

They still can't compete with the big boys and the schools with the big money and programs. Siena haas 3,000 students (same as some High Schools in NYC). For a small program they did okay. Just like U Of ALbany did a few years ago. and thats enough. The Big schools may 3-4 kids that could get NBA tryouts, small schools like Siena and ALbany may get one every few years..

[Hey Reality Check]

There are 342 Division 1 teams. Most have a much bigger enrollment and budget then Siena. They made it to the secondn round after winning their regular season and tournament titles. They beat a Big 10 team in thier home state. They took the Big East regular season and tournament champion to the wire in a year when the Big East was the best conference in the country hands down. That's better than okay guy.
