Good news: We're ranked again.

Bad news: We're a bigger target for those who WANT to be ranked again.

... but good teams not only invite, but relish, that challenge.

It's much better to see where you are by RPI than it is by a national ranking. the national ranking is subjective but the RPI is objective because it gives you a quantifiable score. We saw earlier with Miss. St being ranked a 25 when they had a power rating of 64. The two don't jive because it is subjective. I would rather see Uconn in the top ten RPI then in top ten ranking because it means a whole lot more! keep rolling Huskies!

Coach C demonstrates for all that its not in the national rankings that gives a team validation but in the hard work required to achieve the goals set forth at the beginning of a long season. Hopefully, his players take note of Coach's words and in the last 5 games, they apparently have.

I am a huge uconn and Calhoun fan, but he has been scaring me lately with little clues about retiring. I heard him interviewed last night about the Bobby Knight retirement and he gave some answers that I thought might be hints at retirement soon. I also feel like he is piecing together a final run at a title with some of his players and new recruits for next year. Anyone know anything or have any thoughts about that? I think it would be terrible for Uconn

19th in both polls! Keep-up the good work it's starting to pay off.

16-5 with 10 games left. 5 at home & 5 away. Only 1 team, Notre Dame is currently ranked. With some luck we should only lose 2 or 3 more games.

Final record prediction: 24-7 or 23-6

GO UCONN!

PS. If this team comes back intact next season, it will be a "VERY" special season!

I agree. Sounds very realistic.
