Terrific victory but now comes the real test to their soon to be #1 ranking. Louisville shares the top of the Big East and UConn will have a big challenge from a motivated team that would like nothing better than to dethrown them. Prove them wrong!

Amazing when you think that UConn has 3 players who all had to wether by choice or circumstance miss games over the past few seasons, 2 seniors who have asked for patience and who have had patience, players who have sacraficed for the team who may redshirt, and the emergence of players who are getting some playing time, amazing I do not know how UConn held it all together something we all need now.

Great Victory. As far as fans go we have to stick by our coach and players. Lets all cheer them on to victory and stick by them thick or thin. Go get them Coach Jim. Oh by the way Doug Wiggins is now practicing with the Minutemen and has been reinstated by Coach Kellogg.

From a fan's perspective, this was most satisfying. I L-OV-E beating PC. Always have. I love beating them more than I hate losing to them (and I hate when that happens).

Good job running up the score Calhoun! You should be forced to resign like that girls high school coach from Texas. No class at all... That was disgusting! Karma...

Are you being sarcastic?

As for the game, I was there. It was a great performance. AJ was excellent at controlling the game and making big shots and passes. Also, Jerome's defense was great as always. Can't wait for Monday. Louisville will be full court pressing most of the game. As long as Adrien doesn't try to dribble through the press it should be a dunk contest.

Hey Joe, first time watching Big East hoops, I see? You should tune in Monday night, it's fine entertainment, elite college basketball. You'll learn this, just keep at it big boy.

Great effort after a somewhat lackluster first half. PC tried to match physicality with a bigger, stronger team and got run out of the building when that didn't work so well.

The story here is without a doubt Robinson but of course the media has to put that overhyped half wit Thabeet on the front of the story. Typical for him to show up against an undersized unranked opponent. Don't bet on him showing up on Monday against a ranked Big East Opp. Nice job by Robinson-may be the most athletic player on this team.

Robinson was outstanding I have said in past threads he needs to put the ball on the floor and go by some people and that he did, great results, Edwards is growing more comfortable with his role and his production in those minutes is terrific. That was a big east war out there and the better team prevailed in the secound half ......go huskies

Amazing effort, and so good to see Stanley back in his 2008 form. Biggest test of the year (thus far) comes tomorrow.

You are either trying to be provocative (very weak effort) or you are an Idiot who knows nothing about basketball or sports in general. UCONN ran a very deliberate offense for most of the game, taking lots of time to run offensive sets to get good shots. There was no predetermined effort to run up the score. Just in case you just woke up from a 20 year sleep the NCAA put a new rule into effect--it's called the "shot clock". You can't hold the ball in the 4 corners set any longer; you have to shoot it!
If PC didn't like the score getting "run up" how about this--
PLAY SOME DEFENSE!

Uconn rolls the ball up to 1/2 court up 30 with 30 seconds left then sinks a 3 pointer? This is not running the score up or poor sportmanship? Sounds to me like not only do you know nothing about sports but nothing about nothing 'in general'.

Joe, UConn never rolled the ball up to half court, nor did they shoot the ball with 30 seconds left. get your facts straight

Dude, we all know Thabeet's not on the floor to put the biscuit in the basket. I'll take 7-3, 265 in the middle any day of the week. When a guy contorts his body 90 degrees to get a shot off, Thabeet did his job, blocked shot or not.

And it took you this long to figure out Robinson "may" be the most athletic player on the team? Wow. Thanks for the update.

Daily Horoscope for December 19

Cancer

Hold it! You need to approach things in a calm, controlled manner today otherwise you're likely to get yourself into a state in no time at all. That's especially likely if you're trying to meet a deadline because you'll start to panic and then become all fingers and thumbs. You might also get extremely ratty with anyone who gets in your way or asks stupid questions. Come on, is that fair?
