Bottom line?
Weak class. Bears lucky it not a major need. |

Since when is it a character issue when a kid doesn't do well academically? Shonn Greene, to his GD credit, took advantage of his time out of the game to re-commit himself to become better in the classroom and on the field. He became a great player because of it. Kid's a winner...even though the Bears don't need him, some team is going to get one hell of a football player. And yes, I'm from Iowa, which means I know what I'm talking about and I know what I saw in 2008.
