Chicago Bulls' Luol Deng back to work after injury

Full story: Chicago Tribune

Luol Deng gets set to pass the ball as LA's Ricky Davis defends. We interrupt NBA draft hysteria about players who may not even crack a team's rotation to talk about two who have.

The Bulls better not take DeJuan Blair. Short college rebounders don't flourish in the NBA. He's another Jerome Lane.

I agree. A 6'6 power forward who doesn't jump, has had surgery on both knees, and is not a scorer seems like a wasted pick

Yeah I hope they get Earl Clark instead of Blair at 16.

I'm pretty sure that Brad Sellers lead the Big Ten in rebounding the year the Bulls drafted him. Rebounds didn't translate so well with him...

You're insulting Sheldon Williams...Dejuan Blair had surgery on both knees and weighs over 270lbs. He will be an NBA non-factor a d-leaguer for life.

A good news, bad news article.. Good news if the Bulls can get DeJuan Blair with the #16 pick.

Bad news, any news regarding Luol Deng. The contract that Reinsdorf and Paxson gave this guy was a championship ruiner imo. To make an injury prone, slow footed, basically, backup SF, the team's highest paid player was as foolish as it gets, especially on a team that's so anti luxury tax as the Bulls are. Deng's definitely a tweener at best, even when healthy. He's far too slow footed to be a SF, and far too weak to be a PF. Yet, he's the team's highest paid player. Just amazing !!!

And, once again, a truly negative post from Captain Sunshine...
To those of you new here, Captain Sunshine (Mgray) will spend the entire offseason AND regular season AND playoffs knocking the Chicago Bulls, going back to the past 10 years and some 25 years or so in the future...

Life goes on for Captain Sunshine.

And you guys all thought he was the second coming of Dr. J just a few years ago.

After reading Bloomie's take, I think the Bulls should draft this Dejuan Blair guy.

Loul Deng better be ready to play. I saw him dancing at Club La Passage and he looked spry to me!! If this injury bug keeps up, I will never root for him again.

Daily Horoscope for December 23

Pisces

Someone is in a very boisterous mood today, and you may want to make yourself scarce after a short spell in their company. Their idea of a joke may be your idea of extreme rudeness, or they could take pleasure in being argumentative just for the sake of it. Don't let this person wind you up or you'll go off pop through sheer tension.
