Ryan Mallett made mistakes, more than Anthony Morelli, actually. But after the game, he was laughing.

"...Numbers don't tell whole story for Mallett..."

Don't have to... Michigan 14 PSU 9 no one cares about any other set of massaged numbers...yet articles like this one persist. Here's another set of numbers, 10 and 21, maybe these do matter becuase they actually do relate directly to the other set of numbers above, yeah, THE FINAL SCORE!

...as for Morelli.."things didn't go our way" What a cop out! NO, things did not go your way because YOU fumbled, your over hyped buddy Scott fumbled (AGAIN!). and your team (excuse me..the offense which most assuredly did OFFEND) seemed hell bent on screwing around with the so-called "balanced play" that Joe Pa spoke of!

"Yeah, we lost the game but we were balanced..." What kind of crap is that?

The game plan for this game was nonexistent and what was called seemed like a football version of insanity. Michigan virtually telegraphed their weaknesses in the first two games on national TV! PSU must have been hell bent on giving them a handicap, to keep the streak alive! It is one thing to lose and going down fighting, it is quite another to be locked in some sort of clueless, numb, unable to make a correct decision, twilight zone...Impotent! Pathetic! Look another key FUMBLE!

Thank God we have a defense!

Face it, Bill Kline over at the Nittany Lines Blog says it best!

Carr didn't have to prepare for this game. He just went to Bo's archived files and pulled out the scouting plan from his era ! Give Devlin the chance to play and PSU will never get a great QB as long as Jay is that position coach. Scott should go back to the scout team and perhaps maybe used for blocking. He shouldn't touch the ball

Joe's been in play reruns for years...Like trying to auto race today with early 70's technology! Where's my Chaparral? It's got a balanced wing...

ah..Jay Paterno, the coach's son. The only thing keeping him looking perceptibly good is MRob only because he could get out of his QB role and be a fullback... Mills - zero Morelli on the road to zero...invest in next year already! Oh and get rid of JAY PATERNO! He wasn't even close to a mediocre QB in his dad's the coach, privileged years at PSU what qualifies him to pick and coach QB's today? Morelli is not a leader. Who does not see that?

Austin Scott is the worst running back in Penn State history... and, currently, the worst running back in the Big Ten (but that goes without saying).

Why couldn't he just leave (or perhaps transfer to Lehigh or something)? We'd be starting Kinlaw, breaking in Royster, and heading to Illinois with a 4-0 record.
