hey knutey

let the excuses flow and the name calling begin. what was it, tyrone's bad players or charlie's bad players?
were they too young, too old, too hot, too cold, too big, too slow? 6p a bad start time, stadium to large, not enough candles lit at the grotto?
please knutey the know it all, enlighten us!

While Charlie Weis was playing Brady Quinn's agent his football team was falling apart. Notre Dame fans are longing for the days of Tyron Winningham, Weis is clueless.

Wow, I thought Jimmy could walk on water, if you listen to the stupid tv guys. I flipped to several games yesterday and ol' Jimmy was far down the list of QB's I saw. Typical hype that always follows ND. We'll here all this crap for four years, so get ready folks. Again, Jabba the Weis was out coached and his team out played.

weis weis baby please put the kool-aid down, ND players stink and weiss can't bring in talent. Yes brady quin was very impressive against the air force and navy, too bad he could not do the same against USC, LSU and Michigan. Look for some of the 2008 recruits to bail, this program is in free fall and they will surely want to go somewhere where they might be able to win. Weiss will call his nfl pals as well and se if their is a life preserver out there to get him out of this mess.

Still believe in ND and always will. This is a very young team and with time will be great. All of you ND bashers never think clearly..just interested in sharing the hate.

Funny....Everyone seems to know the answers. Tons of ND bashing. Blaming Weis! LOL.. We'll see if you're doing the same thing in the next few years. Yea...the fact that ND's playing 10-15 freshman and the majority of the others are either Soph or Jr. should't mean anything. Ty's recruiting classes (Ranked in the 30-40 range, of which many have transfered and are no longer on the team thus the underclassmen) has nothing to do with how ND is starting. I mean...come on Ben Davis should be able to hang with Penn State and GA Tech!:)
ND will take their lumps this year and learn from it. But in my opinion Notre Dame is on the right path not the wrong path to restoring the program. Charlie's bringing in the talent it is however right now very young. Brady Quinn started as a freshman against Purdue on the road and got sacked 13 times. Then what happened 2-3 years later? Oh yeah...kinda shredded that defense didn't he?? Give ND time. I promise you that Notre Dame isn't down and out.
if you didn't notice, ben davis couldn't beat penn or warren central. nd is down and out! 0-2

Typical Notre Dame kool-aid. When they win it's despite Ty's players and because of Charlie's coaching. However, when they lose it's entirely about Ty's players. Wait a minute, Domers, hasn't Charlie been coaching many of Ty's players for two plus seasons already?

For a program that hasn't won a national title in almost two decades, and hasn't won a bowl game in nearly a decade, the refrain of "wait until next year" is either comical or pathetic.
