HAH! I think that it's much more likely that the University of Arizona administration received some serious blowback from its alumni about hiring a flagrant cheater like Tim Floyd and pulled their offer. They probably allowed Floyd to publicly say that he turned the position down to save face. Now Floyd can get right back to his slimy recruiting practices at USC, secure in the knowledge that both the USC administration and the NCAA will look the other way.
