Prediction: First round loss for Illinois in the NCAA. Their first-round opponent will score more than 33 points in the first half.

Dear Coach Weber,
In a span of 40 minutes, you killed any chance of a Big Ten title, a 3-seed in the tournament, and possibly lost a first round bye in the BTT. Next time, please don't look past a game. I can't keep defending you if you keep **** up like this.
Angrily,
Illinifan
PS I know DMac was sick. I believe you have a dozen other guys on the team.
PPS - yes a win @ OSU will make me feel better.
Might as well shoot yourself now, Weber will only bring you more misery. For all those anit-illini who live in Illinois - this was a great game!

Yeah I don't know... on one hand he's doing much better than anyone expected, on the other had he's had three terrible games this season. I hope HE learns something from this just like he told his players to last night.

I'll take 3 terrible games over the 19 we had last season. Seriously people, both teams were horrible last night. It was a record breaking night that probably won't happen again for a long time, if ever. This season has been going way better than expected, so don't jump out of the window already.

Illinois looked as if they could not score against a bunch of slow future CBOE traders when they played in Evanston last weak. How are they expected to compete in the NCAA torunament? They are terrible. NU handed them the game. Can anyone compare Illinois to a decent but not good Notre Dame team?

Those "slow future CBOE traders" beat Ohio State last night and Michigan State in East Lansing. That argument isn't gonna work this season.

Oh and Notre Dame sucks. They lost what, 7 games in a row? The Illini don't even have 7 losses on the year.

I posted earlier today (#14), but Im not going to blame Weber for this loss. He has some immature players who still don't believe they have to show up for every game. If they do make the NCAA T. it will be because of coach Weber not in spite of him.
HE IS A VERY GOOD COACH!!

I understand what you're saying, but disagree with you on one point. I feel its part of Weber's job to make sure his player ARE ready for every game.

Don't get me wrong, in spite of my anger I want Weber around. He just has to tinker with the way he motivates his guys.

Nice to only have two Top 25 teams in your conference, neither of which can hold a candle to UCONN, Pitt, Marquette or UL, not to mention Nova or 'Cuse.

well, no.

If we fire Weber, which is what I know you want, we'd jeopardize the 2010 class, and probably loose any standing we've got with the 2011 kids. I don't want two more rebuilding seasons.

Now, if we see this years team crash and burn, then I'd probably be with you.
