Halftime: Oregon State takes lead against UTEP Miners

UTEP has a HEX over it's shoulders, no matter if it's basketball or football it's always the same results, any exposer UTEP gets on national TV UTEP is bound to blunder and fail.
UTEP's real problem with it's basketball team is that the players are not sharpshooters and they have (NO ACCURACY SKILLS) and no bench to back them up.
Heres and example, Stephon Jackson might have the UTEP scoring record title, but when ever Jackson scores over twenty points he has to take at least 50 shots at the court to make 10 baskets.
Anyone remember Nate Archibald? how many shots would Nate miss,(rarely ever missed a shot or free throw) he had accuracy, UTEPS players under the late coach Don Haskins had accuracy talent and they had the bench loaded with good backup players.
Meanwhile coach Tony Barbee's players might look like NBA players, their skills are not of accuracy caliber they are more and more ghetto basketball free lance shooter types, taking dozens or random shots and missing most of them.
The HEX thing I mentioned is that UTEP loses everytime wether it's a bowl game or a championship game or a game of importance they always come up short, it's almost a tradition to lose.
UTEP needs sharpshooters or hang it up.
