Hoops labyrinth Hutch's Maze follows circuitous path

The headline in the April 25, 2007 edition of the Tulsa World read, 'OU dismisses Maze from basketball team.'

That's not exactly how it went down, however, even though several media outlets reported it that way.

Bobby Maze, a freshman guard at Oklahoma last season, met with coach Jeff Capel about a month after the season and the two agreed to part ways. Capel said as much later .
