Reducing the number of times the song is played from six to four is really going to prevent a collapse. Oh sure. Who's the idiot who came up with that one? Was a study done concluding four plays to keep people safe? I cannot believe this is an educational institution.

It's the old adage - You get what you pay for.

This whole discussion is really not necessary. UCF is going to have a few good seasons here and there, and once the reality of their second-tier status in college football sinks in there won't be that much jumping (let alone many fans) in their stadium anyway. The novelty of a new stadium and a good year in high school Conference USA will soon be forgotten in favor of real college football.

For those of you that like to sound off without READING the article, its not a safety issue. Again, this means the stadium is safe for patrons. UCF is just worried about ensuring the stadium lasts 50 years. I bet 95% of the people that post negative comments have never even been to the stadium. Get a life! Because it was the cheapest design available. You get what you pay for.

It seems to me that this is a natural happening because of the aluminum construction. It's built to have some give to it, just like tall building are allowed to sway in heavy winds or certain bridges have a sway factor built into them.
I remember very clearly in high school, when we sat on wooden bleachers and the kids would stomp up and down. if you think the UCF stadium is bad, it's nothing compare to that!!!!

Okay then, who's the genius who came up with four song plays rather than six to make the stadium last 50 years? How about zero song plays...wouldn't that work better?

Let the little brats stomp up and down and then bring the whole thing down. Maybe with a few hundred deaths and dismemberments it will shock some ocmmon sense into them.

It continues to amaze me as to why so many people are anti UCF and delight in knocking it any way they can. The entire community should be proud that we have such a fine school and beautiful facilities in Orlando. Why all the negativity?????

Hey, Bright House Stadium is like their cable company. It sucks. Everything done on the cheap, just like Hitt likes it. Another example of how cheesy UCF is. I am proud of when I graduated, in 1974. It was a real university back then.
If admistration cared about academics as much as they do for jocks, it MIGHT be a good school. Start with teaching assistants and let Hitt's overvalued salary pay for some of that.

You people that talk about the cost and design are truely idiots. Go look at FSU's stadium, built the same way. Once UCF bricks in the facade of the stadium, it will look like most other stadiums. But you can't finish the facade when the stadium is not complete. When UCF expands the stadium to 65,000 in four years, then the facade will be comlete and it will be great. More traffic and reasons to complain for all you losers out there.
Go Knights!

It's taxpayers dollars. So break out the checkbook and reinforce the structure. That's all.

Unlike FSU's most recent expansion and UF's South End Zone expansion 25 years ago, not one dime in tax players money was used to build the stadium.
