OSU's Dez Bryant Loses NCAA Appeal

Oklahoma State wide receiver Dez Bryant has lost his final appeal to the NCAA to be reinstated before next September.

It's undoubtedly a rough penalty, but before we all go running with conspiracy theories about how the NCAA has it out for OSU, let's remember who's at the root of the situation. Dez. If he doesn't lie to NCAA investigators, he's not in this mess in the first place.

I don't know of anyone that doesn't say it Dez's fault. But when you have other players getting a slap on the wrist for lesser infractions, it makes you wonder.

This won't hurt Dez at all. He'll go on to the NFL. It hurts OSU and the Big 12.

If NCAA investigators aren't asking questions they have no right to ask then he doesn't get frightened and lie. The NFL needs to start a minor league progam just like baseball. Let the players that want to go to college for the eduation go to college. The ones that want to got to the pros can go to the minors and bypass the NCAA.

That is a severe penalty and should have been dealt with lighter..most of us I think can agree. Keep at it Dez..keep practicing..get stronger..you'll get there.

if you do indeed have a bachelors degree and a masters degree, where exactly does the blame lie for you not being able to spell? i think that is what the gentleman meant by the hooked on phonic comment.

Ok...you're getting the book on this one. My comment about Hooked on Phonics was meant to imply that a large amount of Sooner backers never spend a minute in a class at the school that their chosen team represents. Additionally, having a bachelor's and master's degree means nothing in the grand scheme of things when it comes to measuring one's intelligence. I have encountered many non-degreed people who can far surpass many degreed people in many fields. And me? I don't feel the need to brag about my educational level, so feel free to think what you want about that one. After all, I'm sure you're more right than I am.

I never said I had a "DEGREE"....? I just have the Bachelors and Masters. It's just a piece of paper..........you bit on that one. you did get me! i should have known u didnt have a degree! i used to live near chelsea, that is where it says your from! i assume thats correct. I should have known, if you had a degree you would be mayor of chelsea.i always tell everyone i know who mentions that town " nothin worth a damn ever came out of chelsea" and its true thats where my whoring ex wife still lives.
