Las Vegas football sucks. Go Ask UNLV. I'm sure he'll be a big bust.

Sounds like he'll fit right in with Hawaii. He goes undefeated then loses the championship game.

UH's defense will have a bunch of solid players with size and speed for the next 4 or 5 years...

Coach Mack seems to be excelling at the recruitment of top quality players, something JJ did not do...

JJ did his recruiting of top football players in the criminal courts (PT & DB) and hospital/rehab centers (AL) where there was no competition from other schools...

It'll be interesting to see if coach Mack brings in a receiver with NFL size and speed...

You know, honestly this isnt a fair assesment of June jones... He rarely recruited on his own, and when he did he usually got the recruit he wanted... Manuwai, tinoisamoa, chang, brennan, lol, and the list goes on. I know alot of the Hawaii fans are bitter that he left, but Mack is an awesome coach and one heck of a recruiter. since when have we had 3 3 star players commit before the season even began... lol NEVER!!!

That may well be the case, BUT I hear from reliable sources that Liloa is not "hungry and humble" (in the mold that Coach Mack like 'em)...similar to when Liloa played for Iolani his sophomore year...when he apparently wasn't really a team player and did NOT fit Iolani's motto of "One Team".
I guess that we'll just have to wait and see whether Coach Mack even offers Liloa to become a member of the Warrior ohana.

Are you crazy? Obviously you haven't watched film on either of them. TJ is way better than Liloa. TJ is much faster and a much better athlete overall. TJ could have easily gone to a Pac -10 school. UH is lucky to have him.

That's interesting that you say that. I see you don't follow Las Vegas HS football.I agree UNLV has it's problems. They have difficulty getting top recruits. I think you would be interested to know that a lot of the top players in Las Vegas are former Hawaii kids. For example, there are 4 preseason all state linebackers predicted in Nevada this year. 2 are Samoan (Alofipo & Nua)and 1 Hawaiian (Nobriga). Nua & Nobriga both moved to Las Vegas from Hawaii. Hawaii should be proud that these kids are making a big impact in the mainland. So please don't put down Las Vegas HS Football.

I think Nobriga will be going to a PAC 10 school, unless he takes up UH on their offer...

This is great for the Bows. But.....
Boise will be backon top, and this is why.
The only concern for Boise is the starting line. But will be filled quite nicely with smart, big linemen. They average only about 280, but are quick and smart. LG Woodruff is 320. I feel that Kellen Moore will be the starting QB. Only 6' 1" and 185, but can sling the ball to the playmakers on O. Childs, Pettis, Young, Perretta and Hawkins. This is the best collection of pattern runners in college ball.
Then throw in Brockel (TE/FB). He will be a threat in a sophisticated O.
Then Ian Johnson. enuff said.
BTW the D is tough, and the kicking game is sick with Brotzman and Elkin. Brotzman is a Lou Groza finalist.
It's all there at Boise. But we will see for sure come the Oregon game.

Your pal,
Ruger

Ruger, Football starts at the OL. Come on now, you been around long enough to know this. Boise knows this, and that's why their concerned. Plus, they don't have a QB at the moment to take the Helm.
Hawaii already knows who the QB will be. There OL is seasoned anew after the SB. The Defense is predicted to be the best in the WAC.
Puuuuuh-leeze >>>Boise St. There hat dance ended at the Fiesta Bowl. Time for them to move on the MWC conference and get Zero coverage.
