Maybe Charlie promised Dayne the starting job too just like he did with Jimmy....HA I guess only USC can have more than one good QB at the school at one time.
GET REAL!!!! Joe, it scares you to think how good ND is going to be in the next two years. All those years under Lou Holtz start to come to mind when your Trojans fell to the mighty irish. It's ok.

you know that you are going back to what you are, the hype is fading and so is the lack of institutional control.....USC is headed back to a team that you schedule for a win.

Maybe Konrad, Matt, Zach and DJ can join forces and play together with their pink jerseys, crying because Coach Charlie hurt their feelings. I'm with you, why sign the LOI if you have any doubt about your committment to any school, not just ND.
I don't think that so much about the QBs because they were ballers that were probably never going to see the field.
But Konrad is a pussy that couldn't beat out a freshman for his spot, and Matt is just a punk.
Pure and simple.
Maybe we could buy them some pink panties too, you know, to hold on their cups.
But then you don't need a cup if you've got no balls.

I think DJ would've made a nice transition to LB or S if he wasn't such a girl. His ego got in his way. Zach, on the other hand, was never going to play a down for ND. He probably shouldn't have signed in the first place, but he had no idea Jimmy was interested in the IRISH when he signed his LOI in 2006.

Yaa, I wish Jones wasn't so hell bent on playing QB somewhere.
He was a Rice type, but I saw nothing that showed me he could be an effective passing QB, and we need as many athletes as possible on this team.

I don't know how well you remember the Carlyle Holiday or Battle years Chris, but I wasn't ready to return to those days.

I remember those days very well. Those were the days when ND had 10 QB's or former QB's turned into ATH. Guys like Gary Godsey and Jared Clark turned in TE's. Guys like Arnez and Carlyle who played for a coach who didn't want to lose, but at the same time, never played to win.

Those teams lacked leadership and the talent it takes to play QB in college.

Jones had a future with ND. His ego got in the way, and now he's going to play at a school and probably won't make it to the next level.

His loss.

All I can say is that he should have a life full of regret. He isn't a child, he made an adult choice. At his age I was serving my country at war, the negatives meant a lot more than not getting to start. I hope nothing bad happens to the boy, but I also hope nothing good does, it would just reinforce the bad choice as a good one.

the reason ty was released was he was not doing the job he was getting paid for. especially recruiting where he left the cupboard almost completely bare.
the reason cw is struggling this year is because tyrone was not doing the job he was getting paid for. especially recruiting where he left the cupboard almost completely bare.
the reason tyrone is doing well right now at ew-dub is because he inherited a team loaded with upper classmen. he will turn that around soon just like he did at n.d.
if this is too difficult for you to understand, try getting a job that doesn't require thinking. unfortunately for you, the one you have does and you're not equipped.
and you might start by saying,'sorry, n.d., i didn't do any research before i wrote this atrocious piece of misinformation in a very public venue. i hope no one is hurt by my grievous error. i promise to quit and get a job a walmart where i don't have to be accountable and don't have to think.'
loudly, please.
Next year will be just as bad as this one. I can't wait!

Well we have been waiting for a comeback all season?
hopefully they can get it turned around eventually.

By the way, did you like the Banner Pic flying over Notre Dame Stadium?

Is Notre Dame ever going to turn the corner in CFB?

PS on another note Rudy (Daniel Ruettiger) is a Crook!

I guess it is safe to say that his Motivational Speaking Career is OVER LOL!

Football underdog "Rudy" sacked for stock fraud

What did he learn at ND away from the football field?

Didn't ND reinforce his existing values or instill any values in him?

Like:

Honesty?

Integrity?

Character?

ect.
