It seems to me that he's learning the playbook well, he's just having a hard time catching the football. I hate to say this of a first round pick, but if he can't catch the football and we've got 2 other rookies that can, then if I were coaching then he'd be the odd man out.

He may not be catching every pass, but he can clear out the zone on every play and that has value.

From what I've read, it seems like when he does catch, he doesn't have a good hold on the ball and bobbles it a lot and that really concerns me. Speed and height are both good, but I'd rather have a slower undersized guy that can catch than a tall speedster that can't because you can't move the ball passing when receivers don't catch the football.

Maybe a taller, slower guy in the slot. On the outside, speed is needed for any scheme to be successful.
