I am not suprised by the ticket price increase but it is a shame that it had to happen...again. Next, they will cut the amount of student tickets and offer them only to high paying alumni and only the rich will be able to afford to watch the Vols in person. I will bleed orange until the day I die but I think this pill would be easier to swallow if the fans were watching National or SEC Championships being brought to Neyland Stadium but that hasn't happened in 10 years. Oh well, I will continue to watch my beloved Vols on ESPN or CBS just like all of the other poor folk!

I totally agree with your comments. At these prices, it's high time that we brought in a coach that can motivate championship quality teams.

Yea for real. Let's get rid of Bruce Pearl. We are tired of mediocrity. I mean, heck he only did the exact same thing Phil did this year. Win the SEC EAST, lose the SEC championship, and finish in the top 12 teams in the country.
Cant afford it anymore

I guess I will have to pick another team to support that has lower ticket prices!!!!!

Yeah, but Pearl took a bottomfeeding team to the top of the heap in a few years. Fullmer has had many years and has been very inconsistent as of late. Fullmer took over a winner and is having trouble maintaining the minimum. I say we hire Pearl to coach both sports. Football may still lose, but at least we can't say they wouldn't be motivated.

You better get a better coach besides coach Fulmer if you want to sale these high price tickets.

and I'm sure the size of each seat will yet again be smaller this year. They keep bragging about how many seats they've added each year; but that is at the expense of seat size. If you sit by someone that is large in size you are out of luck!

It'll cost you more to see the Vols snatch defeat from the jaws of victory next year....maybe they can use the extra money to buy out Phil's contract.

$315.00 for tickets
$2000.00 in donations just to get the chance in getting them
Watching them Loose ... Priceless.
All this money just to watch some boys paly ball.

And who would we replace him with? Your comment is one of the silliest I've seen...in three years he's turned this team from an unknown to a nationally known and respected team, brought tons of great publicity to UT, and has brought in people who never even watched basketball before to be ardent fans (I'm one of them.) What have YOU accomplished in three years, other than increasing your obvious stupidity?

I think this is a deliberate attempt to keep those of us classified as "trailer trash" and "rednecks" away from the stadium. The blue bloods like a refined environment. Mike Hamilton likes money. Adieu, Casablanca.

"World class student athletes"? Who is he kidding? We have to pay higher prices to recruit these athletes and then when they get here we have to pay for their room and board while they're in jail!! This will not stop and we will not get rid of Fulmer and get a coach who can control these kids and get their respect and discipline them like Pearl does, until we say "NO" to the tickets all together. Empty seats is all the athletic department will respond to.

I have managed to take out full page articles against the winningest coach in college football, and create a backlash against one of the most loyal bodies in the NCAA. Once Phil leaves we will end up with some spineless coach like Miles or Rodriguez who will jump ship after a year or two.

My comment was pure sarcasm and so is the Fairweather name. So obviously the increasing stupidity is your own, by not seeing the obvious parody and humor in my previous comments.

Bottom line: Phil and Bruce had the exact same season this year.
