Defensively the ‘Jacks have been led by safety Conrad
White (5-9, 180, Jr) and linebacker Anthony Llanos (6-3, 251,
So) with 11 tackles apiece. Llanos also leads the team in sacks
with 2.5. K.J. Gerard (6-1, 187, Sr) and LB Zac McNally (6-0,
240, Jr) each have an interception and Gerard leads the squad
with three passes broken up.

So if White is leading the defense, why is he playing behing Gerard and not next to him.

NAU needs his agresivness to win and get to the Big Sky Championship.

I agree. White isn't getting his dues. What are the coaches thinking. Bye the way, last time I checked, White is a cornerback, not a safety.

If you are listen on line to the SUU game, the other corners are struggleing, yet, White is only on special teams.

What's up Jacks!!!

I looked at C. White's stats against PSU. Not bad for less than 10 minutes of playing time. Come on coaches, you are under utilizing this kid on special teams.

The NAU defense as a whole is wonderful. They work well as a team even though none have records stats this season - most games they keep other teams passing game to negative yards. The team does not pick out any players as more important - that is why they do not have names of their shirts this year. I overheard KJ say after the PSU game that he promised to put the team and his teammates over his individual stats. I say keep up the good work and trust the coaches - I have been following the games for 5 years and this is the best season yet! GO JACKS!

KJS FAN - No one is taking away anything from KJ. However, a coach should use his best players to get the job done. I just don't agree with their use of #27 on special teams rather than opposite KJ where he started. Something just doesn't smell right.
