Nice to hear that Kahn is speaking honestly about the W's lack of overall talent and depth. Woodside is a stud--he's the real thing and a good pick at 18 I think--he lit it up against some talented teams (like Kansas) even when guarded by quality players. He really is talented.

If they sell the 28 pick (for cash) they will lose me forever as a fan. With all Glen Taylor's money, a few hundred thousand isn't going to change his financial well-being one iota. If they don't want to use pick 28, at least trade it to someone who wants it for a future number one, even if it is five years down the road.

Selling it is just "so Taylor".

Mr. Kahn here's my idea- You need to get the fanbase excited about wolves basketball again which can't be done (at least initially) with whoever you get with the 6th pick- From what the blogs say, the Clippers would be willing to give up their first pick but want to get rid of Zach Randolph's contract. Give them your 6th, 18th, and 28th pick for Randolph (help for Big Al inside) and their #1- Then take Rubio -(best point guard in the draft) Two years from now you have the big guy from overseas you drafted last year with you when his contract runs out. Just do it! No guts, no glory!

The wolves need to keep all the picks. As stated their not close to contending so why take second hand veterans from teams looking for youth. Given the rebuilding job that needs to be done they can afford to take a chance on the kids. If McHale is out of the picture and Taylor spends the money necessary to sign the kids why not.

Earl Clark!

I agree with fracas that selling a pick that could possibly help this squad is not worth it for a team with so many needs. Wasn't Mario Chalmers our second round pick last year? He could have helped...

who are these wossies who keep putting clueless on someones ideas ? someone with no imagination I bet.
randolph has 16 million on contract. would have to send about that much salary back.
miller and cardinal ?
add a second rounder and and have clippers forgive wolves their future draft debt and it could pan out.
