A very nice win for our Gophers. I don't think they're going to get much cred yet nationally, need to beat WV on Sunday, then hit the top 20 and go from there. Get Devoe back also and things will be looking even better.

I love to reminisce about the good old Dan Monson days!

Can't we go back in time?

It is great to have a COMPETENT coach and one who knows what he/she is doing like Tubby compared to fake salesmen Brewster!

Go Gophers!

Oh No!

It seems like you've just offended a Wisconsonite who is now living and working in the Twin Cities metro area........most of them come over to take our jobs and work here but at night slips back across the border to complain about Minnesota and everything associated with it.......crazy but true!

Drive on 94W between St. Paul and Hudson and you'll see those red license plates going back with Minnesota money. They still hate us even though they need us.

Those were Gopher football fans....Tubby's 4th year looks to be a bit better than Brewster's.

This Gopher team has the size, athletic ability, experience, and coaching that we haven't seen in Minnesota in a long time.

There are some great teams in the Big Ten....Michigan State, Illinois, Purdue, Wisconsin, and MINNESOTA!

Finally a sport in Minnesota that will be fun to watch/follow.

Yes.....and let's hope another great coach from the Division I football falls into the lap of incompetent AD Maturi. The last time he tried LOOKING for a football coach he got conned or should we say enamored by ROSE BOWL talk and a simple resume tooting salesman.

I still don't trust the guy!

North Carolina is over rated primarly because they are the Tarheels and are expected to be good. Gophers played well and could have as easily won by 10 points. Even so don't expect the gophers to better than 5th place in the big 10 and lose in the 2nd round of the ncaa.

Loved seeing the defensive intensity throughout the game. When Joseph gets back, we'll have more help handling the ball against pressure. Mbakwe looks like a beast and gives us a toughness we've been missing. Hope he can push Ralph to bring his A game every night, especially once we hit the conference season. If he does, it could be a fun ride.

Your such a pessimist, I bet you get out of bed in the morning and close your blinds, so the sun can't shine in.!

The Gophers need an assistant coach that's a boiling mad, short-fused hothead, pacing up and down the sidelines using heavy profanity.
