Transfers are fine if you need one or two to make a push for a conference championship or NCAA run, but, they only have two years of eligibility in many cases and often spend the greater part of a season learning their new team and vice versa.

UCF has recently (last year and this year) made a change in their orientation and it is to bring in primarily 4-year players. They have one transfer (from Clemson) who is sitting out this year and has three years remaining of eligibility but after the current crop of transfers leaves at the end of this season, he will be the only one. They will have added six four years players from the 07 and 08 classes.

Bravo for that! That is the way to go. These look to be quality players and with the new arena, UCF should attract good four year players for many years to come.
