I have OTA via rabbit ears to get my local channels in HD. You cannot watch IU games OTA, you have to go satellite. I switched from cable because I'm not going to miss 17 IU basketball games this year.

Looks like it's going to be a good year for IU basketball. Thomas has looked good in every game. He actually knows what to do when he gets double teamed and at his current weight he's quick getting back on defense. After he loses more weight he will be even better. Starting Thomas over Stemler is a wise choice. The team plays well together and even though we have yet to play a major team it's to IU's advantage that we are playing so many games before the B10 season. GO IU!!!!!!!!!!

Just saw the bowl projections on cbs sportsline. They have IU at the Insight Bowl on New Years Eve against Texas A&M. For the record, we would destroy Texas A&M if we do play them. They are run-heavy and dont play against many teams in the Big 12 who run the spread.

I agree starting thomas over white is a good move. Mostly because then Stemler can come in on the second team and not have the pressure of starting. That should help his three point shot.

Keep up the good passing DeAndre (The Giant) Thomas. We have great three point shooters on this squad and continuing with the inside/outside game will get them a ton of open looks.

From the UNCW site:
"One of the most intriguing matchups on Tuesday will be in the post area, where IUs DeAndre Thomas and UNCWs Vladimir Kuljanin will combine for a total of 560 pounds in the paint. Thomas weighs in at 295 pounds and Kuljanin tips the scales at 265."

OTHER TRIVIA:

UNCW Head Coach Benny Moss was an assistant coach at Charlotte when the 49ers played at Assembly Hall on
Dec. 23, 2004.
The 49ers led throughout the game against a struggling Indiana team, but found themselves trailing 73-71 with 0.7 seconds remaining.
Charlotte coach Bobby Lutz drew up a play. The 49ers had to travel the length of the court. Curtis Withers threw an inbounds pass from underneath the Indiana basket to Plavich, who caught it at halfcourt, turned and swished in a 45-footer, stunning the Hoosiers faithful.

Longtime Big 10 official Ed Hightower waved the shot off, saying the horn had sounded first. But the crew checked the courtside monitor and discovered that the shot counted, giving the 49ers a 74-73 victory and triggering a wild celebration.
Also, a UNCW fan recently gave Coach Benny Moss a DVD - shot by a fan with a handheld video recorder - of the Seahawks' 73-72 loss at Indiana in December 1986. Greg Bender missed a 12-foot baseline jumper that would have won the game against the eventual national champions.

Moss plans to show part of the video to his team today.

As far as I know you cannot get the BTN or IU games Over The Air(OTA).
Go with DirecTV. It is much better than cable. If you cannot get a dish where you live; then move, have some trees cut down, or put the dish on pole in your yard. You have options and if you still cannot get a dish for other reasons then sorry for your luck.
You are correct, I listen to the radio!!!!

Listening to the radio is not the same as watching the games on the TV.

It's 2007. take the fast path and catch up to those of us living in the year 2007. He's gone and he is never coming back.(NEVER COMING BACK) We enjoyed the time, the "real" people have moved on.
It's okay! You can move forward, it's okay!!!
You and people like you just don't get it. It is not about BK. It is about representing IU. It is about integrity. It is about doing the right thing. To you basketball is just a sport. To real Hoosiers, basketball is more than just a sport. BK is just a person who understood what basketball meant to the state of Indiana. We all know BK will never come back...who could blame him. We need to go forward and get a coach and administration that understands what B-ball means to the state of Indiana.

Choking players, swearing at students, throwing chairs, berating the media. That's not what basketball means to real Hoosiers.

Sampson understands Indiana basketball better than any of you RMK lapdogs will ever know.

This guy is right! Get with it. It is about winning!! It is not about going to class. It is not about graduating players. It is not about abiding by rules. It is not about have no facial hair. It is not about projecting a clean cut image. RMK had to give drugs to his players...after all why would they come to IU to play for him and stick up for him after playing for him. Get with the future. Sampson is the future....get use to it.
