Sounds like he might be a decent player, but really, what are the chance of him playing a season, a half a season, a game?

Maturity? His history sure doesn't indicate it. Time will tell.

Sounds like the kid will fit in nicely with the Aggies, undisciplined on offense and defense/academics are non existent in his priorities.

"They were really strict, they wanted you to play defense and pass the ball"

Really? Aren't those the things that make a good team?

I wish him well, and want the aggies to succeed, but sounds kind of selfish.

We'll see.

self titled "marvelous" marvin menzies again continues to con everyone around here. he is a fool and continues to recruit kids that do nothing to add in the stability or growth of this program. selfish kids who are all about me me me. things dont change for the better around here, especially with that idiot boston running the show. come on aggie fans...when will we all stand up and make it known that boston is a fool. they won't see another dollar of mine, to which i have had season tickets for a long time and have supported many teams. they lost me and others for women's hoops with what they did to the coach and will soon do the same about the baseball situation. because of the joke in menzies program, i'm gone too. have fun.
just think, in a year, you won't see boise, nevada, fresno or hawaii. and don't forget that san jose state and utah state wanted out of the wac. when the mt west realizes they need another couple teams, they will be gone. so, we now get denver, texas san antonio and texas state, with cal state bakersfield, seattle, utah valley soon to follow. that will be about the time la tech leaves too. wow.

You people are very stupid. Miller was rated a top 150 player out of H.S and had many big time offers. NMSU is very lucky to get him. Who do you prefer him to recruit? We just landed a kid who should be playing in the SEC. Be Happy. Don't be jerks.

Typical Aggie fan/jock carrier, can't discuss a situation rationally so reverts to name calling and insults while liberally using the anonymous icons to brand comments!READ the players own comments for insights into character or lack of!

The Aggies program has been stable and solid since Menzies got here and he has added interesting recruits like this one that have paid dividends. Fan favorite Wendell is one of them. Hernst Laroche just GRADUATED in 3 years and has the opportunity to set new school records. I intend to show up next season yelling loud and proud of these hard working young men giving the support needed to keep on winning. Jack, Leonard, ABQ, and con man have interesting views of no interest to me.

Sorry girlie from HI.

You again show your lack of sports acumen.

From ESPN: "K.C. is a solid player. He is a good point guard prospect because he has a good basketball IQ. He is good at all aspect but great at none. He has recently committed to Kentucky. K.C. is a top 50 player in the 2010 class nationally."

From Rivals.com : Position rank 37. Total rank: 150.

So, yes, he can play ball. Can he stick, that is the question.

Girlie, maybe sticking to knitting or playing with your doll collection is a better past time for you rather than trolling sports blogs.

I agree with you on everything you said about the Aggies. Have you seen the videos on the other recruits, that being Eric Weary Jr.,Remi Berry, and Daniel Mullings ? I know they haven't played college ball yet , but they looked good.

The big question is.... Is this another one of Menzie's "nothing but trouble" recruits. It seems to have all the earmarks we've seen before. This is what happens when you fail to develop a group of team players who understand that the word "team" extends beyond the court if they want to get that precious "PT". Many of his players get themselves arrested, can't stay scholastically qualified, or just up and leave. These are not "team" people. Menzies has a serious flaw in his inability to develop solid team play and expectation. And it shows both on the court and in the resultant falling attendance by the fans. I'd much rather see Menzies developing solid young men and team players like this high school standout from Albuquerque, than someone who will play awhile and then self-eliminate himself while leaving everyone else hanging.

I certainly hope that the negative judge it icons are from the same person, or there are more idiots on here than I thought. Those expressing concerns about this recruit are right to do so. By his own admission, he finds it unusual that a coach and his staff would want their "POINT GUARD" to play defense and run an offense. He didn't fit in because he is a self proclaimed slasher who likes to dribble the ball. I think we have been loaded with those kind of guards for quite a while. For those that do not understand what he is saying; There will be more standing around and watching next season. There will be more losses to teams like Northern Colorado, teams with a good point guard, good shooters, offenses designed to involve everyone, and a willingness to play defense. We will once again be the most talented, the biggest and the quickest team in the wac. Time will tell.

Saw a few vids on the kid and he can play. Wicked cross over dribble that will leave defenders wondering what happened. Don't know about defense.

He should be seasoned enough to want to stick and play. With him and Remi in the mix, I can see the Aggies being a tough team, especially with senior leadership from McKines.
