How does a coach that's chocked another coach and fired a staff member cause of her looks inforce team policy?

That's cute loulou, the "Thuggies"...

July 2008 - Lobo arrested for contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
Junior defensive end Phillip Harrison, 21, a projected starter, told police he knew alcohol was being served and was arrested early Sunday, the report said.
Police cited 27 people for underage drinking at the party, including Lobos football players Jaymar Latchison and Jonathan Rainey

June 2009 - Two Lobo Football Players Arrested Police booked starting offensive tackle Byron Bell and reserve wide receiver Quintell Solomon at 1:30 a.m. on 312 Central Ave. SW, according to documents on the Bernalillo County Metropolitan Court Web site. The address belongs to The Library Bar and Grill. Both Bell, 20, and Solomon, 19, were charged with disorderly conduct and participating in a public affray, the report said. Bell also was charged with larceny/shoplifting, while Solomon was charged with offenses by a minor.

May 2010 - Athletics employee arrested on DWI charge
Stephen Reaves, 25, a weight room intern for the UNM football team, was arrested on a charge of aggravated DWI.

March 2006 - Albuquerque Journal (Albuquerque, NM)
Football Player Jailed; Lobo Faces Kidnapping, Four Battery Charges.
Aleem Charles Harris, 21, from San Bernardino, Calif., was jailed this past week on four counts of battery and a single kidnapping charge.

Ooops, seems your beloved Lobos aren't saints, either. Maybe they should be renamed the "Lowblows" Yeah, that has a ring to it!

Nolubez,

I'm glad you like the Thuggies moniker. Maybe Chopes can sponsor a promotion, free enhilada plate anytime an Thuggie is arrested.

Where did you get a name like Nolubez? Seems like something you'd hear when you drop the soap next to your favorite Thuggie.

Anyway, how about we walk down memory lane to remind our fellow readers about some notable Thuggies.

Wendill Mckines, arrested in 2009 for trying to steal a sign.

Herb Pope, arrested in 2007 for DWI.

Tyrone Nelson, arrested in 2006 on two felony counts, robbery and conspiracy to commit robbery.

Former QB Cody Ledbetter, arrested in 2010 for domestic abuse and criminal penetration of a minor.

Jahmer Young deserves to have a building in the AD named after him with his rap sheet.

2008, arrested for battery and assault after exposing himself to a girl.

2009 he was apprehended by university police for becoming abrasive with an employee.

2010 he was arrested, along with teammate Jacoby Patton for assaulting a peace officer.

Of course we love our criminals in the Land of Enchantment, however it seems Dona Ana's most prestigious university loves Thuggies with recidivism tendencies.

loboloulou,

McKines never stole or attempted to steal a sign! He was arrested due to a bench warrant related to another issue. If you going to talk smack at least get your facts right.

Oh, loulou, do you really think I would have posted all that not knowing what kinds of rap sheets the Aggies players already have? And? My point was merely that your boys are no better. For a more expansive list, let's include basketball and even soccer... wasn't it just last year that one of the precious wolf girls assaulted an opposing player on national television? Lowblows, indeed. Must have hit a nerve for you to come back with such a witty personal attack. I bet you know all about what happens when you drop the soap, just as most other Lowblows do. Nolubez is the most heard phrase in the Lowblows locker room when one player asks another how he wants it, but if you're a Loblow, you already knew that. And, no, spitting doesn't count, sweetie.

Please, continue with the personal attacks and witty comments, they make me smile. And at the end of the day, we'll both still be like competitors in the Special Olympics(well, you will more than I will). And you'll still be a Lowblow.

Lets not forget the credit card thief on the Aggies volleyball team who charged $2000 upgrading her wardrobe then mysteriously disappeared this year or DeWayne's encounter with the DUI check point.

Very soon we might be hearing about a sex scandal involving a head coach and a player.

Yes sir you gotta love it, If only we had a Sports TMZ.com

I'd have to give the edge to UNM for legal trouble. Didn't one of their athletes commit suicide. A recruit got himself shot and paralyzed...some pretty foul stuff. Not to mention the Bliss era that never was properly investigated. Now the Locksley nonsense. The job just keeps on a-happening.

That said, the Aggies have had their troubles as well, just not to the extent of UNM.

It would be easy to gloat at the issues with our rivals such as UTEP/UNM but at the end of the day it is really sad that these young men make poor decisions & piss away for them what is probably the biggest break of their life
I guess you never know what you had till its gone...

Putting all the nonsense aside, about who robbed who, etc.; at the end of the day what matters most is the POSITIVES in our respective athletic depts, whether ur a LOBO or AGGIE.... Although we are LIFETIME RIVALS (I am a LOBO by the way), we should be more positive about our athletes. To my LOBOS, I wish you the best of luck in the upcoming season(s), and to my rival AGGIES, I wish u all the best of luck as well.... except when we play against each other : )

Nice to see Nathan Enriquez will be able to get help for his drug issues. Thank you Mike Locksley for identifying the problem. We wish Nathan well, but he needs to clean up.
Maybe there will be a semi-pro league who can play at Apodaca Park or somewhere in El Paso's badlands as well?

UCLA kicked off three black football players this summer the first week they enrolled in summer school for stealing a purse than arrested. 2 were inter city ghetto thugs, the inbred element of criminality exist from kobe. oj to willie horton, makes no difference.
