Cody Green's a man with a plan. Knowing quarterback Joe Ganz would leave after last season, Green chose to graduate from high school last December so he could enroll at Nebraska in January and be able to participate in spring practice.

Cody Green has a lot of potential, but I think it will be a couple of years before he really hits his prime. Husker fans need to lower their expectations for now.

Bill, I have to agree with you. It is definately still possible for us to take the north, but we have a very young team and its a learning season, not to mention all the injuries we've been having. But I really think Green compliments the spread offense we are trying to accomplish very well with his strong arm and ability to run.
