Thank you for the kind article about Marlon. We will miss him in Nebraska. His four years at Nebraska built a young man who is a team player, an excellent athlete, and who now has a solid, unshakeable character that will last his lifetime. All of Husker Nation wish Marlon the best.

I've been a Marlon Lucky fan for years but found information in this article that was beyond anything I'd known about him previously. Thanks to the author and good luck to Marlon in his quest to play professionally.

Great story and overall a great kid that grew up a lot. His story is one that Husker fans and real people fans should admire. He started virtually everything in his life without the usual structure and support most of us know. I am glad that the Husker Nation stood with him and did not let him down. And, Marlon, we were honored to have you. Good luck. Any NFL team that gets you will learn from you and learn that you have much to offer. Your Junior season was terrific and the bright spot in Callahan's tenure. You have always had it right though, the TEAM is the thing that counts the most.

Thank you Mr. Lucky for sharing your talents with our team. My family wishes the best for you and your family, and hope you lift up your fans at the pro level like you did for us. I hope you are able to come back and vist often, you are a great person. If you have the time, we have quite a few kids here in Omaha that could use a visit from you. I think you would be able to make a big difference in their lives. Thank you again for your hard hard, and I really hope you are able to come back and finish your degree and really make us proud.
