Warching from out here in Ca., I truely admired the respect given by the fans to the Middies. hats off to a class act....Now, as for the game...well, today after watching both the Buckeyes and later the Trojans....theres a lot of mouth watering starting up out here...I heard all the snide comments about OSU's weak O.Line, and USC's potent defense, plus the pressure SC will bring to Columbus...Well, I still have faith in my Buckeyes....Now if I could just find a way to get them to have faith in themselves....GoBucks!

Doc, glad to hear you haven't let living in CA change your outlook. You are a true Buckeye and I respect your positive outlook. Tell the USC fans to get ready...it took them until later in the first half to take the game over against a weak SJSU team yesterday. We played a much tougher opponent in Navy and they came out with 9 months of practicing to win THIS game. I hope you are able to feed the USC fans a little bit of humble pie come 9/13. GO BUCKS!!!

"9 months of practicing", huh? And the Bucks spent how long practicing for Navy? Or do too many coaches, players, and fans have USC on their minds? Well...then I'll bet USC must be really be fearful the Bucks have had 9 months and a week to practice for the Trojans. After reviewing the film of Saturday's game....I doubt it!

Believe it or not, I think you are right. We lost focus towards the end of the game which is when the let up occured because they have been so focused on USC. I hope USC ISN'T fearful of the Bucks so when we smack them in the mouth it is a surprise. Just like we had a late game struggle against Navy because we were overlooking them, USC is overlooking the Buckeyes because they think they have it in the bag. I hope USC comes in thinking they already have won the game, we will be on the good end of that situation. If you remember, that is what happend to us in the NCG against UF...we thought we had it won before the game started and they came out to prove something and they did....if USC does the same to us, they will be going home with their heads down wondering what they could have done better.

I wish I had your faith that we will smack them because we let Navy run right up the middle at us. No push on the Navy front line? yeah I think we're in trouble, but of course would welcome us winning the game.

Now that we know for sure what we expected out of our offensive line, where do we go from here? I see a lot of heartbreak ahead and therefore a long, long season. The jury is still out on the defense. That verdict will come Saturday night.
