Are you dreaming?? There is no way Hawaii will be able to stop Navy. I mean, c'mon, Ohio State, Notre Dame, Air Force, etc...schools waaaay better than Hawaii couldn't stop Navy, what makes you think Hawaii will be able to stop Navy. Give me a break!! Face reality!! Don't be deluded by Hawaii's wins over San Jose State, Utah State, New Mexico State 'n think Hawaii's defense is starting to come around. Playing against the worse teams in Div. 1 is not like playing Navy.

The headlines says it all. They must contain a powerfull offense. I wish the warriors well but wishing doesn't count here. They do have some confidents now that they have won several times. This will help I hope and we just gotta play our hearts out. Go Warriors.

There are 3 other Hawaii players not mention and did travel with the NAVY team, Bruce Andrews #9 WR Kalaheo 08, Matt Shabata WR #8 Midpack 08, and Cyril Ontai FB Kapolei 08. Total of 5 Hawaii kids practiced last night at Aloha stadium and looked great.

Mac why didn't you do us a favor and go with JJ to SMU to be DC? He offered you and we stupidly offered you HC with a huge salary with no clauses believing you would keep the winning tradition going that JJ left us with. Mac you saw the money in front of you and your greed took over and I believe you full well knew you weren't qualified for this position. You have lost my respect and you have no integrity. You sounded on one of you call the coach shows sloshed like you were drunk. How dare you represent Hawaii in this manner. Your gay slur should not have been forgiven and we should of been rid of you then. You get no free pass from me. Do Hawaii a favor and step down at the end of the season. You are already a rich man and can already retire from the money you stole from Hawaii and move off the island or if you choose to stay live in seclusion.

Yeah, Mack do everyone including yourself a favor....throw in the towel right after kickoff! Saves us the embarrassment of getting trashed AGAIN by Navy, look at it this way, throwing in the towel would put UH on the national spotlight since your team of undisciplined long-haired yahoos couldn't achieve anything worth mentioning, other than making Crogmanum proud of the barbaric haka dance!

Give UH the "needed" national spotlight it deserves by forfeiting the game, you're gonna lose anyway? After all, Mack has driven the UH football program over the cliff with no hopes of recovery.

Thanks for speaking the truth, it's unfortunate the rest of Hawaii is blind to this, it's obvious Hawaii is gonna get trashed! It's gonna be 21 Navy in the first half, UH - ZIP!

It was a well-played, hard-fought game, and a well-deserved win for UH. My hat goes off to them, as well as to the Midshipmen!

I was reveling in UH's exciting victory until I heard the radio announcers, Curren & Kekaula, note that something like 14 (?) of the Navy players plan on enlisting in the Marines, and may be on the front lines by this time next year.

All of a sudden, the game seemed like such a small thing...
