I hope they get their butts kicked too and there are less drunk people on the road leaving Lane Ave on Sat. Where are the DUI checkpoints after these games?
I wish my co-workers would stop wearing osu football jersey's to work. WTF is that?
IF they get beat by Navy and USC, they will have a weak ranking and not make it to a bowl game - even better.

The bad thing is that the stupid fans will tear up the osu area win or lose!

It's amazing to me how much time, energy and money people are willing to put into this distractionary nonsense; and, the majority of these people 1) do not play 2) are not related to anyone who plays 3) care more about what happens to this particular team than most of the actual players do.

If people invested a fraction of the amount of passion in other things such as education, learning and developing critical thinking skills as they do with the type of hysteria that surrounds this team (and the way that other people all over the country follow "their" respective teams), then this country wouldn't look like the crumbling mass of apathetic, complacent, uneducated, fear-driven, ignorant dumbed down country that it is.

Here's a revolutionary idea: turn off the propaganda machine in your "living room", open a book, speak to people in a way that fosters respect for one another, find something that you, yourself, can actually participate in and realize that life is more than following the actions of other people (in most cases very young adults) playing a frigging game.

Rate this post as you wish but to me the religious fervor (and that's exactly what it is) that is created around a GAME, is utter insanity; and, anyone who is actually awake to what is going on in the world knows it. Choose to pull yourself away from the shinny, distractionary, irrelevant things on tv and your life may become a whole lot better.

Try to remember that when you shout: "WE won!".......you didn't "win" anything. You never hear people yell, "We lost!"....it's always, "They lost!".

Your life is not defined by living vicarious through the actions of people you don't even know....being inspired, sure, but too many people don't know that living their own lives shouldn't be a spectator sport.

Wow ....I bet you like the smell of your own farts huh. I read book all the time. I am currently reading a book on building a chevy V-8 turbo charging with my Garret twin T-6's. I read a book on holley carb's , Lennox furnaces. I bet with all the knowldge you claim to have I can do way more things than you and when it comes down to life skills I will make you look retarded. I am N.A.T.E certified on hvac (heat pumps , gas furnace ) I can rewire anything including changing out service panels or adding subpanels. I and plumbing pressure pipe fit certified. I have a WW! and Freon epa cards. I have a CDL.
I can rebuild engines and transmissions. You know all that stuff you think you are above yet you wish you could do to save thousands of dollars. Also in high school I earned my ASE certification but since it has expired on steering suspension and brakes. So does this make me more educated than a kid with a masters. I think so. They come to me about three times a month wanting a new air conditioner installed. I give them a great price around 1700-3200 dollars depending on the tonage
and options seer wise. It takes me about 5 hours and I took the guy for at least a grand and he does not even know it. Sorry I dont sit on a laptop outside a starbucks when everyone else should be working typing on a laptop. For one this is a football thread. No pussies allowed. You would be better off going to the gallery hop on high tonight then try to understand the mind of a normal American. Not a supercilious idealist in a ivory tower.

I believe in things I see. Jim Tressle and Jim Bollman are not one of them and there is one thing I believe in I don't see and its not this current administration in the white house its God and only God. God....you know that thing that America is trying to destroy.

Fightfan, you sound like a moron. Voice of reason is right, you proved his/her point by your posts.

Unbelievable how you spoke about your God and in the same sentence bragged about how you suckered a guy out of money. "It takes me about 5 hours and I took the guy for at least a grand and he does not even know it."

Spoken like a true clueless hypocrite. Again, you just proved V. of reason's point beyond a shadow of a doubt. Unbelievable.

Here's a clue: why don't you actually follow your religion instead of just pushing it on people?

Is it any wonder why a lot of people think OSU fans are obnoxious as*holes? I hope your precious team loses every game they play.
